7. I do think they're ahead of the curve...
The only bumper stickers and yard signs I see here in SE PA are for Obama; people come up to me every day when they see my button just to say they are voting for him ~ there is such a feeling of hope and unity (though I know that might sound corny)!

9. I'm going to look at overall trends
Rather than relying on a single poll. It'll be interesting to see whether this poll is an abberation or the first of many.

13. Others have shown the race tightening, but this is the first that puts Obama ahead...
Still, from what I see on the ground, it makes sense ~ there are no Clinton bumper stickers, no yard signs, no buttons. Not even a campaign office.

8. We are starting to see the effects of the 'sniper' story combined with negative campaigning.
Mark Penn's campaign style only works with repuke authoritarian types.

Hillary should have fired him long ago. x(

16. Ex Manch Vegas Democrat - Here
Now residing in PA - voting for Obama. The local news taked about the 100,000 + new voter resitrations and the thousands of republicans registering to vote in the democratic race. I don't trust polls but everyione I talked to here is either a McCain or Obama supporter.

36. I do agree....
... and I am from SoCal.

I am seeing lots of "buyer's remorse" on those who voted for Hillary in our primary. I have not seen one person go from Obama to Clinton or from Obama to McCain....but I have heard from quite a few who have decided that if Obama is our nominee in November, they will vote for him over McCain. In the same breath, most now say it it is Hillary they will not vote at all, will pass voting on the top of the ticket race, or they will vote for McCain.

Lots of talk on the Bosnia bullshit and the race baiting and other dirty campaigning by Hillary.

but I'd take these poll numbers with a grain of salt. Let's wait for Rasmussen or Survey US to see what they say the trend is.

This is the first poll I've seen in which he was ahead, so I'm thinking he's still lagging slightly behind. However, in all the recent polls, he's closing the gap to under 10 points. I think he'll do a lot better in PA than the Clinton camp expects.

32. Hopefully he hasn't peaked too early...
...as I think he may have in New Hampshire and California.

On the other hand, the great thing about keeping Hillary in the race is that it bankrupts her from running in the future.
