Does Hillary Clinton support gay MARRIAGE? Simple question. It seems like there are those who |
|
take issue with Obama's stance that marriage rights and civil union rights should be equal (which is totally respectable and understandable given the current political climate). What issue is there, then, with his position? Any link that proves Hillary is any different than Obama?

2. No, she doesn't. She also doesn't support a full repeal of DOMA, unlike Obama, who does. -eom |

I'm glad that I'm not the only one on this board that knows this
but try telling that to the Hillbots and they'll only bring up McClurkin while ignoring the fact that HER husband signed not only DOMA but DADT during her time of "experience"

5. What we have a problem with |
|
Edited on Wed Apr-02-08 08:12 PM by dsc
is people claiming he does when he doesn't. Most of us who actually care about this issue know full well what each candidate's position is. Frankly, we also know that there is no way gay marriage or federal civil unions are going to pass in 4 or 8 years. I know you all don't want to hear this, but our problems with Obama are to do with his actions, not some delusion about Hillary.
On edit, do you have any idea how insulting posts like these are? We do do our homework.

and you and yours choose to ignore what Obama has done to support the GLBT community while Hill has marched in parades!

|

which is what your problem is. I know in your delusional world we are all Hillary worshiping racists who burn crosses in our yards out of our hatred for Obama. But the fact is Obama chose to use McClurkin, Obama chose to lie about having done it, Obama chose to associate with yet another homophobic minister who petitions against us. He did those things. Not Hillary, not the bogey man, he did it. If Hillary dropped out tomorrow, he still would have done it. That is the problem he has. Coupled with a public record as short as his is, it is a very disturbing pattern.
On edit we = gay and lesbian supporters of Hillary.

oh my goodness
maybe I just believe Obama when he has said TIME AND TIME AGAIN that he doesn't share McClurkin's views
and Hill doesn't have her own homophobic supporters?
google is your friend
"WE" might want take a look at exactly where your candidate stands on issues
I just pray that she's not the nominee because it's been shown that the Clintons will sell anyone down the river for a few votes

20. and then we find out about yet another pastor |
|
and I presume another and another and another. Incidently when has Obama discussed if he agrees with Meeks? I hope you are right about Obama but you have zero evidence to back you up. He has run an overtly religious campaign and with one singular exception (pastor Wright) all of his religious advisors have turned out to be homophobes. That is worrisome to me. I have seen this pattern before and it isn't pretty.
