So, I just got home from work
My husband tells me he gets this email from Hillary...

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/action/flmi/?sc=1742&utm_source=1742&utm_medium=e

He was a little pissed...needless to say, he emailed his reply to her campaign....I am soooooooo proud of him!

"I can't stand it anymore. The level of hypocrisy that's going on with the HRC campaign right now is galling.

Don't you mean every vote should count as long as it benefits Hillary?!? Anyone who is somewhat politically astute knows that all the candidates (exception being Kucinich and Gravel) agreed to the DNC's decision not to count the votes out of Florida and Michigan because the two states violated the rules. HRC agreed to this and now, that she did not close this thing out on Feb. 4th, she's whining?

I don't like it and you people over at the HRC campaign are pissing me off! Enough already.

Now you're saying let all the votes count? Except unless of course Obama is leading in states won, pledged delegates and the majority of the popular vote. Then your campaign wants the super delegates to overrule the results and give Hillary what she wants. To that, I say B.S.!

I've always liked both the Clinton's and I think Bill did a great job as president. I also think Hillary would be a pretty good president, but this scorched earth policy that your campaign has decided to pursue is not Democratic politics...it's very GOP and Rovish. So I want to say to you now, STOP IT!!!

I have no problem with HRC staying in the race until the primaries run their course and if she wins the majority of pledged delegates and popular vote I will support her, but if there is any maneuvering that results in the majority being denied you people will have ruined any chance of winning in the fall.

Also, if you continue on this "kitchen sink" track; and Obama is our nominee and we lose to McCain then HRC can forget about ever having my support again. I strongly believe that I am in the majority who would turn their backs on her and cast her out. She will have ruined not only her legacy, but that of her husband as well.

It's time to put the American people and the Democratic party first!

Again, STOP IT!"

I find it comical too, that they say let the people vote, but we all know they're going to turn right around and disregard that vote when it goes for Obama.

A limp noodle can beat McCain!

Why the GOP style fear tactics?

It will get over and those who put ego before party and country, who are going to 'withhold' their votes because the MAJORITY didn't pick your candidate, I hope you get over yourself. I wanted Edwards. I've moved on. Do it. Its what grown ups do.

19. Dems legacy is to advocate for free and fair elections
Edited on Wed Apr-02-08 08:35 PM by OzarkDem
We're certainly going to have a hard time trying to object to the GOP rigging elections, purging voter rolls or trying to prevent people voting if we can't stand up for those same principles in our own primary.

How many times do you think the GOP is going to fling FL and MI primaries in our faces when we try to hold them accountable for their abuse of the elections system? How can we make the case to end Jim Crow-type practices with something like this on our backs?

Its the height of hypocrisy, and we'll long remember those who objected to counting MI and FL votes when they complain about GOP abuses in the future.
