I have tried to stay out of GD but the he said/she said crap I'm reading this morning regarding what Richardson told Clinton is really pissing me off. If Hillary's campaign continues to push "Obama can't win", it will only hurt our party as a whole in the fall against McCain. For them to come out today claiming Richarson made this statement is so GOP it stinks.
The Clintons continue their craven strategy of "if I can't have it no one can" by trying to damage Obama in order for McCain to win the GE.

2. This is hardly the first or even tenth thing Hillary has done that will hurt Obama in the GE... |
|
The pattern is rather clear now.

6. When this statement filters through all Dems..what will be the responce? |
|
Do you think people will attack Hillary for saying it? .......or do you think that they will agree with her?
And what will this statement do for party unity???? It is really ugly shit.

4. If I Can't Have It No One Can!!! |

I'm Hillary Clinton and I approved this message as written by Mark Penn.
You've hit the nail on the head.
Heard on a feature on NPR this AM how some voters in Pittsburgh think she's damaging the Democratic Party's chances in the GE.

Actually, the more old Hill and Bill keep up this rhetoric of negativity, the more they look 'crazed' and desperate.
In other words, I hope they just keep saying these things ... it won't hurt Obama when almost everybody in the country (including those who will never vote for Obama) believes that the Clintons are just irrelevant whiny, ambitious, lying politicians.
Oh yeah, they already believe that.

10. Richardson could have said it |
|
He could have said it when he was still in the race himself, soon to be out, or he might have believed it before Super Tuesday showed him different. It's rotten of the Clintons to put it out, I agree, but it seems possible it was said at some point in time.

11. LISTEN UP FOLKS!!!!!!! |
|
From Mike Allen @ Politico.com:
"THE ARGUMENT — George Stephanopoulos on "World News": "Sources with direct knowledge of the conversation between Sen. Clinton and Gov. Bill Richardson … prior to the governor's endorsement of Obama, say she told him flatly, 'He cannot win, Bill. He cannot win.' "
It gets a Drudge banner and is the cover of the N.Y. Post: " 'Obama can't win' - Hill made brazen claim to sway Barack backer."
***PLAYBOOK EXCLUSIVE - PAUL HARVEY'S THE REST OF THE STORY: It turns out it was Governor Richardson who told the Clintons that he did not think Obama could win when he promised them he would not endorse Obama. According to a source with knowledge of the conversation, the governor said then that Obama was too inexperienced."

he NEVER lies...
But this is really a side thought. In a campaign where we have Hillary folks suggesting that even Obama's pledged delegates could switch their votes, how dare she get outraged when one of "her" Supes switches. That Richardson never even publicly stated his support makes it clear that he was never "hers" but still - how dare they get mouth-frothing upset by this!
