Poll question: What Will You Do After The Primary Race Is Over?
I'm just trying to assess whether the, I dunno, mutual viciousness you see on the Clinton/Obama threads is temporary or permanent...so what do you plan to do after we have an honest to God nominee?

2. My dear Plaid Adder!
I'm really not sure...

I suspect I'll feel hugely relieved that this war is finally over, and now we can get on with the very serious business of getting our nominee elected!

I'm very hopeful that the vicious infighting will vanish, along with the new troublemakers.

We must come together!

As the John Adams series has shown us...Join, or Die...

4. Great answer
That is exactly how I feel too. The end of this primary can't come soon enough. I hate seeing Democrats fighting each other. I guess it's because we're all just passionate people. ;-)

31. Sorry, it didn't occur to me
I don't drink at all, so I'm always forgetting it's one of the options.

Too late to edit, so just imagine that all the choices listed begin with "Get incredibly drunk, and then..."

C ya,

The Plaid Adder

7. Look toward 2009 and a Democratic administration.

Then get to work against Mitch McConnell being re-elected.

Optimistically, JL2

15. I'll do the same as after EVERY other Primary election.
I'll take a day or two to recoup (or celebrate) and then I'll be back out working the full ticket. That is how it works. If it ends up that your choice didn't win then you pull your socks up and walk into the HQ to work the full ticket anyway.

If you just can't stomach the other guy (no matter what) then you find a race you CAN feel good about and you work your ass off in THAT race. There are WAY too many races out there needing money, help, and volunteers to ever just sit on the sidelines.

THAT is how you earn the right to call yourself a party member.

18. I'm already gathering forces to work toward electing a Democrat in Nov.
Personally, I plan on working until I drop in an effort to elect one of ours rather than McCain.

I'm also looking forward to riding my state of Senator Cornyn.

22. Keep on keepin' on.
Despite the pretense to the contrary, no single election and no single office is the end-all or be-all of the political problems in this country. I remain a steadfast liberal and will give my vote and my support to liberal candidates. At the same time, I will continue to engage others in conversations to do my small part to shine a light on the unrelenting shift of our body politic to the corporatist right. Folks get distracted by the whip of social issues, and fail to realize that we're steadily losing/surrendering any democratic control over our own government ... approaching that condition where it won't make a damned bit of difference whether any 'liberty' is anything but convenient and profitable for the very few who OWN us.

24. Yawn, and await the outcome of the quadrennial farce.
With 3 solidly establishment candidates running now, soon to be winnowed to 2, I'll dutifully cast my vote for the best candidate on the ballot..even if I have to write one in.

If it's Clinton I will probably vote for her but not do any campaigning, if it's Obama I will probably get involved in campaigning for the first time in my life (other than "fringe" protest movements).
