I think she's going to try and do something to Obama when he gets the nomination. The word nefarious comes to mind....

1. Many people think he cannot win. Just like many people think Hillary can't win.
Why put on the tin foil hat?

14. Why didn't she just win a bunch of primaries then?
If Americans wanted her to be the nominee would she be there by now?

I really don't need Hillary Clinton to protect me from myself.

22. All these 'Obama will lose in GE' remarks just indicate that the posters are afraid of the GOP
Hillary has no advantages over Obama in the GE. I keep hearing how she stood up to epublican attacks for 16 years, but it's not like Bill could fire her from being first lady. By that logic, Laura Bush has stood up to Democrats for 8 years.

and there's noting nefarious about her saying that. When Obama gets the nomination, Hillary will strongly support him.

10. I haven't come that far
in my feelings about Hillary. I think she wants to win but I don't think she'll do anything to sabotage Obama if he gets the nomination.

If she seriously has any interest in running again, sabotaging Obama would put a nail in that coffin. I doubt if she pulled something like that she's even get this far in the nominating process.

31. Hillery's strategy right now is to try and say he will lose to McCain
Remember, McCain has crossed the commander in chief threshold. Hillary has also crossed the commander in chief threshold. And Obama is just a speech. He hasn't done a thing his whole life except make 1 stupid speech. Hillary and McCain both have a lifetime of experience.

26. Here is the quote
http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/04/hillary_spokesperson_yes_obama.php

On a conference call with reporters this morning, Hillary spokesperson Howard Wolfson was asked whether it's the Hillary campaign's official position that Obama can't win a general election against McCain, as Hillary is reported to have privately argued to Bill Richardson.

Wolfson's answer:

"No."

There are a lot of people who think that Obama can't win. A lot of them are even Democrats. Imagine that!

What is she going to "do" to Obama?

27. Why else would Hillary say that?
According to the polls and the electoral map, Obama was a very good chance to win. Yet Hillary says Obama can't win. What does she know that we don't? She's got to be plotting something.

32. you mean those polls that have Obama losing to McCain
in Florida? While hillary wins there? How 'bout Mass? Obama is losing to McCain in MA, one of the most liberal states in the country.

Obama has yet to show that he can win the swing states. If he doesn't win Florida or Ohio, we lose this November. Just like last time. Hillary's concerns are grounded in reality.

30. Many people outside this board think that. This board is very unrepresentative.
If you look at the math with regards to swing state demographics, it is much easier for Clinton to win the necessary states we need to win than Obama. Many people here might hate the Clintons for not being progressive enough, but that doesn't affect the math.
