Hopefully Obama is not peaking too soon.
I think this happened in Ohio, where the poll numbers began closing, only to have Clinton separate once that whole NAFTA bullshit was flung around. We're still what, about three weeks away from the primary? Anything can happen, either good or bad for Obama and even though he's trending upward today, who knows where this race will stand in a week or two. Hopefully, though, he can continue chipping away at her lead and then build one himself heading into Election Tuesday.

1. Obama seems to be making PA a more competitive race earlier than he did in OH
Which is a good sign.

And you are right, there are still 3 weeks left. Hillary most likely has another kitchen sink ready....

4. That's because Obama had TX to deal with at the time. This time he doesn't.

2. Manage expectations. It's still Hillary's to lose.
I saw her little press conference today, ie.. Obama outspending me, Obama working hard in the state, PA is important to Obama, etc.. etc.. Like Texas where he erased a 20 point lead, we shouldn't start considering PA an Obama state. Squeaking out a 4pt win in PA must not be spun as a Hillary victory. It will be a major victory for Obama and evidence of his continued momentum.

9. I'd love for PA to take on the look of Texas.
I was content with Obama's showing in Texas, because I knew it would be tight. If Obama only loses by 3 or so points in PA, it is a victory.

3. Unlike Ohio, Obama has put his top rated Iowa team on the ground in Pennsylvania
They have been his A team, having been together longer than any other state team he has.

5. The polls in Ohio took forever to start closing
And when they finally did, he got hit with NAFTA and everything else.

I think he wants the gap under five ASAP. Then, he can put his superior organization to work.

6. We should all say Hillary Clinton is expected to win by 18%
And if she doesn't she will have failed.

Set the bar low.

7. I'm worried about that too
I just don't think he can win PA and I am afraid these polls are raising the stakes for him. I am trying really hard not to get my hopes up.

8. Obama didn't close very well heading into the March 4 primaries
He had a horrible 3 days, and I think he could have definently done better than that in Ohio. No doubt now that every poll shows her lead shrinking, I'm sure her campaign is planning to hit Obama hard with some bullcrap the final week before PA.

10. I agree w/ people here -- Dont get your hopes up! It wont last -- its 3 weeks and Hillary will lie
cheat, steal, sell her body, do anything to reverse that momentum against him...i expect him to lose by 15pts and i will be happy with that.
