New word: McCain Democrats |
|
From Wikipedia entry "McCain Democrats", written in the year 2017:
McCain Democrats were Democratic voters who, in 2008, defected to the Republicans for egotistical reasons. Many, if not all, of them were staunch Hillary supporters whose political ideals became subservient to their selfish identity politics, in which Hillary's loss became emblematic of the history of women's suffering, and Obama's victory became symbolic of every father, brother, boyfriend or husband's wrong-doing. Ironically, their enabling of McCain's victory led to the overturning of Roe vs. Wade, a stacked conservative Supreme Court, less American commitment to improving women's rights worldwide, and the further demonizing of female sexuality in American culture. But a moral victory was won in preventing that sexist pig Obama from winning the presidency. Though the McCain presidency was a tepid one at best, the McCain Democrats felt that at least the social hierarchy of America was preserved (White men > White women > Jews > Good minorities > Non-sex-having Gays > Immigrants > Sex-having Gays > Bad non-Black minorities > Bad Blacks).

1. Maybe we can head off these "McCain Democrats" |
|
Let's pick a more electable candidate than Hillary's opponent.

You don't help your candidate by spewing this sort of nonsense. All you do is sound petty and shallow.

5. Yep- lived through the era |
|
and I don't doubt we'll see some of the same.
But that doesn't have anything whatsoever to do with the not so subtle Hillary bashing going on.
