It's NOT ok to call Hillary a Corporate Whore, and it's NOT ok to call Obama Corporate Uncle Tom.... |

The whole argument is just ridiculous. Yes, Rhodes is a good liberal radio host. I enjoy her when I listen. But it's not ok to toss around language like "whore" when talking about the former first lady of the United States and Senator from New York. It's just not. The only reason she didn't get fired is because she's a woman. What she said was HATEFUL.
It's also NOT ok to toss around racial stereotyping like many Clinton supporters have done. Neither side is correct anymore.
Frankly, the whole thing is just amusing to watch anymore. At least we're registering new Democrats in the process!

and further more, Bill Clinton has been pimping himself and his days as POTUS out to foreign nationals.
There's really only one narrow context for "uncle tom".
Whore is pretty well gender neutral and used in various contexts.
And the word pimp has also expanded it's modern usage.

10. So, we can say that Michelle Obama is out pimping for her husband? |
|
Would it also be okay to call her a whore, media whore, corporate whore?

13. Well put! Bush is a whore to the corporate interests too....so is McCain |
|
The term whore has long ago been expanded beyond the definition of a woman selling sex for money.

Is it okay to point out how her and Bill have long supported corporate interests, or is that off limits too?

7. Nope... plenty of room to have intelligent coversation |
|
Tossing around the word "whore" about a woman who has spent what amounts to the last 30 years in public service is another thing entirely.

If you'll reread what I posted I didnt call her a whore.
I was just asking if its okay to question the Clinton record of pandering to corporate interests.
Is that off limits?

4. When is the outrage over things said going to end, and we start talking |
|
about the economy, for example, or Iraq.
Can we get to that?
I'm tired of it all.

5. She didn't even use the word "corporate." She just called her a whore, period. |
|
And then went on with "fuck you" to Sen. Clinton.
She also berated Sen. Clinton for dealing with facts and "reading the fine print."
After she called her a whore, she said Sen. Clinton's thing is always "read the fine print...there's no rules that say the superdelegates yada yada."
The thing is, I thought that's what Randi was always about...dealing with facts and reading the fine print...that's why she posts documents to her website.

She wasnt hired for her good manners, her saying things off the cuff (or from her heart without thinking) is what she's always been about.
Sure that rankles the more sensitive types who probably dont listen to her anyway, but thats their option.
Not to listen.

|
in 2010 or 11 and ask if they are considering another run after the last debacle.
