I was 10 years old and in traction in the hospital due to a neck injury. I told me mom I hated prunes, and I would get sick if she made me drink it. She kept nagging me until I drank it. A few minutes later... purple projectile vomit emerged from a pathetic, injured little girl with her head strapped to a wall. It was great fodder for instant guilt trips for many, many years! :rofl: Mom: eat your peas. Me: I don't want to. Mom: EAT YOUR PEAS! me: Remember when you made me drink prune juice??!!! Mom: Oh, nevermind... :yoiks:

Honestly, I have never been able to stomach prunes or prune juice ever again. Even Dr Pepper makes me queasy!

20. Oysters, for a similar reason.

A neighbor decided that I should eat oysters when I was 5. He decided this for me, actually to the point of forcing me to swallow one.
