Now granted, she does pick her team, and she does have the controle of it.
However, its people like Wolkson, Penn, and Kiki (not sure of her last name) that spin everything possible. Seriously, the smallest things that do not need to be spun are spun. The American people are sick of the spin, they are sick of dishonesty, they are sick of being told what to believe.
I have no doubt in my mind that the people around Senator Clinton believe in her, and probably believe they are getting screwed by the media. Maybe they are, but that is their own fault. Senator Clinton could have had the Obama message, but they didn't. They had the message of "we are going to have a conversation" She was reaching out to their base, and that was it, they isolated them selfs.
1.27 million people donating to Obama because they see something in him, for the most part he is up front with the them. Yeah sure, the campaign has spun, has messed up, he is still a politician. But for about 80% of the time (if not more) he has kept his promise. He has had the same message and has not changed once. It gives him credibility.
A great example, the "I found my own voice" moment. If you really look back at it, she found her voice and then she let Penn, Wolfson, and Kiki change her voice. At that moment she could have had a come back, the media got it's ass kick (rightly so, the last 20 sec of this clip proves that
http://youtube.com/watch?v=uBVd-Ex-Nxc ) But something happened, she lost SC, and then was not prepared for after Super Tuesday, and they took a beating. Then we had February, with all those small states, and it gave Obama the lead, and Senator Clinton lost her voice. (by the way, it was all grass roots in those states. In my town in VA, the Obama campaign came in 5 days before the election and we already had 70% of the city covered door to door before they steeped foot in the city.)
Now it is arguable what did it, SC or Super Tuesday, but ultimately she stopped listening to herself and went back to Penn, Wolfson, and Kiki.
It is not over, but if Senator Clinton does lose the Dem Nomination, it wasn't because of her polices or they way she debated or even related to people who came out to see her. It was when the fact that she took every cheep shot she could take at Obama and she was reading it on off a piece of paper, most likely drafted by Penn, Wolfson, and Kiki.
