That's it. This campaign video has made me switch allegiances
... and parties. Viva Gravel!

I keed ... I'm still an Obama supporter. But I do like and respect Mike Gravel; he's nutty, but in a fun way. Certainly, no other presidential candidate can so successfully channel William Shatner. :headbang:

3. How does showing JFK getting shot advance your campaign. What is he saying
with that? I really do not get it...

4. the guy behind that video is good.
He did the Bush 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' video, which is dead brilliant.

How he talked Gravel into doing 'Helter Skelter,' I have no idea.

How 2008 is reminding so many people of 1968. 40 years. Come to think of it the Democratic Convention will be held almost exactly the same time as the last disastrous one was 40 years ago! Let's hope there is something symbolic on how the Democrats are finally "out of the wilderness" so to speak and real HOPE is alive again once Obama is nominated and he gives his acceptance speech.

7. I wasn't yet born in 1968. I've watched the footage of those turbulent years and
wondered what it was like to live in those times. But now, for the very first time in my 36 years, I truly feel like I am witnessing history unfold before my eyes. It's an amazing feeling.

Keep HOPE alive!
