McCain will seek Jeb Bush's help on education

http://www.floridatoday.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080403/BREAKINGNEWS/80403039/1086/news01

Republican Presidential candidate John McCain said Thursday he has turned to former Gov. Jeb Bush for advice on education policy and will continue to do so if he wins the November election.

McCain said he's had meetings with Bush for "a couple of years" on education policy and enthusiastically said he would seek his help if elected. The Arizona senator made the remarks after being asked how Bush will help the campaign.

"He has offered to do whatever he says he can and I appreciate it. On the education issue he is already helping out," McCain said. "He's very well respected on many issues, but education is probably one where I think he has a nationwide reputation."

from the above, you can see that the neo cons do not plan on going away - election or no election, they think they are here to stay.

since we haven't stopped them from doing anything they wanted to since 2000 its doubtful we will now.

13. come down to florida and check out the public education....
i heard a tampa rwingnut talker (who is on AM drive time on station with m.savage PM) praising mclame's choice of jeb(!) (they love that down here) because of all the jeb(!) has done for education in florida...

florida...yea...we're ahead of Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and....?

the same place the state ever was...graduation rates here are abysmal...and the FCAT testing program forces teachers to 'teach for higher FCAT scores' than actually teach kids anything of use...

'no child left behind' ring a bell?...

more bush...is there no end to these f***ers?
