Obama's General Election Favorability numbers soaring-highest since Wisconsin primary
Rasmussen:

Also Mccain leads Obama just 47-44.

Clinton trails Mccain 47-42.

Among voters nationwide, McCain is now viewed favorably by 56% and unfavorably by 41%. Obama’s reviews are 52% favorable and 46% unfavorable. For Clinton, those numbers are 45% favorable, 52% unfavorable (see recent daily results).

The Wright mess is officially over except for poor Nazi Sean Hannity at Fox news. now.

2. But from what new angle??
The voters have decided Obama does not deserve to be punished for the views of his pastor. Why would they change their mind just because John Mccain tells them to?

5. Most democratic Primary Voters have, but once we get in the GE its a different story
It wont be John McCain, it will probably be some vicious third party group.

21. I think you are buying that from the Hillary Campaign and the Pundits......
What is it that the 3rd party group will say that the public haven't already heard?

Remember that Obama will have a Veep pick by then....and I'm sure that whomever he picks will counter whatever image 3rd party groups would try to convey.

Let's not underestimate the American people, and give credence to the News Commentator who make up their own realities as they go along. I'm not going for the Hookwinking and Okey Doke....and you'll be surprised at how many others won't either. Obama's message will be heard and will be received.

3. On the other hand, when the majority of the country sees McCain & Obama
side-by-side, and compare speaking styles, content, etc., Obama's numbers should soar.

7. They can keep beating the Wright Horse and pastorbating as much as they want.....
because those who do it are the ones coming off looking bad at this point. But since it is all they've got, by all means, let them keep it up.

17. Some 527s supporting the Clinton campaign are already focus-grouping an ad on the subject ....
... discussing the benefits of Pastorbation, and how it can help with Hillary's electile dysfunction; and, in an act of reconciliation, they're having it narrated by Jocelyn Elders.

12. Its over.
HRC is trending downward badly - its a shame she lacks the grace to exit the race before she totally dismantles her credibility as an elected official.

18. Another pair of results from another recent poll:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/latestpolls/index.html

McCain 50, Clinton 41

McCain 46, Obama 44

from Hotline/FD polling, pretty close agreement with Rasmussen.
