2. Wow - not only handsome, but very intelligent too!
Lots of good info there - thanks for the post!

As for the first paragraph of his post, it's a bit disturbing - reminds me immediately of the rush to war with Iraq and looking for anyway possible to tie 9/11 to Iraq by the Bush Cabal. It's a bit eerie.

5. Didn't he say he was leaving the country?
He said he was leaving the country if Bush was re-elected in 2004, but he's still here. Baldwin is a fine actor and comedian and he's politically intelligent, but I get the feeling he's an arrogant asshole who treats women like crap. So great that he's for Obama, but no big surprise.

7. So you're going to smear him based on your "feeling"?
Nobody doubts that the man's had his "asshole" moments, some of which have gotten him roundly and justly criticized, but most people do that from time to time. Outside of a bitter and acrimonious divorce, nobody who knows him argues that he's not a bright, talented, and almost invariably upstanding person.

8. There's the stuff with his wife and his daughter too.
I didn't realize a single post on DU was 'smearing'. I don't have to like the guy or call someone who is abusive to women upstanding.

George Clooney is everything Alec Baldwin is (politically intelligent, funny, a good actor, attractive) and a really nice guy too. Invariably upstanding and never abusive to women.

So Alec can move and George can stay. :hi:
