OH THE IRONY: On Huffington Post the lead story is of HRC:
Clinton: "I'm Getting Used To Being Outspent"

It's her "poor me" bit. After seeing the tax returns, it takes a lot of gall.

1. Oh lucky you!
She finally releases her tax returns and you STILL have something to whine about!

Go Hillary!

Gobama!

9. Was it stonewalling?
Seems to me it takes some time to get a tax return prepared for that amount of income. How soon was yours ready?

10. She could have relesed 2000-2006 any time in the last 12 months
I am so tired of the bs argument from her supporters.

12. She still hasn't released 2007
The released returns included only 2000-2006, so your argument is incorrect.

16. She stonewalled every single state that went before Pennsylvania.
It's pretty clear why, now.

2007 is understandable, but 2006 and prior? No excuses.

23. Have you ever filed a return on $109m in income?
It's not the same deal as what the rest of us go through. You can extend your filing for a very, very long time to allow the record keeping and documentation to catch up.

People keep treating this like she made $30k last year.

28. Yep!
I worked in the home office of one family (can't mention the name... NDA signed and I'm bound for life) with 10 employees... our soul purpose was to manage their assets... part of that was finding charities to give about four million a month... I kid you not.

Have I ever been the Heavyweight Champion of the World? Have I ever been a United States Senator? Have I ever won the World Series?

Have you ever made ridiculous moral equivalency comparisons?

36. There are no special rules for high income individuals
Everyone has to report (and pay their estimated bill) by April 15th -- even if they need to file an extension.

how soon was YOURS ready?

I always file early, and I am not running for president. my late father was an accountant.

also, keep in mind, these are PREVIOUS tax returns, not this year's.

there is no "preparation" involved.

22. I've worked as personal assistant to five different billionaires...
And three millionaires... and none of them filed their taxes on time... extensions all around... sometimes two or three years down the road. There are so many more issues and requirements in preparing that sort of tax return.

Shoot... My salary is only $15k more than Obama gave to charity!

31. You must be clairvoyant...
... to know what kind of money I make.

Probably should have used your powers to have foreseen and stopped the Hillary's campaign's collapse. Not that anyone would have listened to you. Hillary and her people only hear what they want to hear and you would have been called a traitor.

Didn't think so.

But the whining will continue until Clinton gets out of the race or we all go mad and vote for Obama just to make it stop.

3. she FINALLY releases her tax returns.....
well, hell...i guess that little chapter is over, now...

what?...she didn't know they were going to get inspected line for line by hundreds, if not thousands, of individuals trying to figure out what could have POSSIBLY caused this delay in the returns' release.....

if she would have released this info months ago, any blowback (just guessing there MIGHT be some) would be over by now...

another 'smart' tactic gone awry....

25. The Ol' Boys Club is out fund raising me
Edited on Fri Apr-04-08 06:08 PM by sniffa
Dear Almost Tapped Out Donor,

Today, you may have heard that my opponent has out-raised me in the month of March by at least a 2-1 margin, and I personally apologize for the heart-ache that that revelation most certainly caused. It's with this heavy hart, and deep, personal concern for your well being, that I ask you to donate as much as you possibly can. You know, I know that we're in difficult financial times right now, but if I'm elected President, I will make sure that you are not going to feel the effects of the economy.

Whether you're a Hillraiser, a Ranger, or a Peon, every donation helps us save America from itself.

So, please, think of America.
