Clinton releasing her tax returns makes me think she won't drop out anytime soon.
First off, I'm convinced Obama is on a path to victory and Hillary has no chance to win the nomination. As of yesterday, I was speculating that Hillary was going to continue holding off on releasing her taxes as long as possible, and possibly drop out before ever having to release them. Obviously that didn't happen, so now I fear it's much more likely that she will stay until the bitter end.

1. This contest will be over by early to mid-June. Once the last primaries are held, the SDs will come
out and make their endorsements. The majority of SDs will back the pledged delegate winner, and that will be Obama.

Hillary can stay in past that point, but it will be a futile and pointless effort.

5. But with 109 MILLION worth of future
campaign contributions, couldn't she sway a large number to come to her side in exchange for ???

14. Do you really think
they have 109 million?

They paid 33% in taxes. They gave >10 million to charity. They were millions in debt when they left the White House.

16. Don't forget I don't think Bill can give her any money for her campaign.
Which is why her donating half of her net worth to her campaign showed that she believed in it at least.

17. Their net worth isn't a dime over $50 million
all of it earned cashing in off their first tour of duty in the White House.

2. I fear that you are right
Why release and expose your largesse unless you were adamant about staying in until the bitter end? Also, now she has shown the uncommited SD's that there is some possible election funding coming their way for upcoming elections maybe?

4. I've only seen a "summary".
Is there a link to the actual tax returns? I'd like to see them.

6. I'm beginning to think she will never drop out,
of her own volition anyway.

I can't imagine how difficult it would be to give up a dream this big and all-encompassing. But it does seem like she will never, ever willingly let go as long as there is even a million to one chance.

8. Why does it have to be bitter? A campaign well fought can be a
satisfying memory. I won, I lost ... I lived.
