Obama has cut Clinton's superdelegate lead from 106 to 30

Obama cuts into Clinton's superdelegate lead

She trails him in fundraising and in pledged delegates. Now her superdelegate edge has shrunk to 30, from 87 in February. Even some who back her say they might reconsider.

WASHINGTON -- Nearly three weeks remain before the next Democratic primary, but the results are rolling in from another part of the presidential contest -- and they signify trouble for Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Democratic Party officials and insiders known as superdelegates are jumping to Barack Obama's camp or signaling that's where they are headed, including such prominent figures as former President Jimmy Carter. Some superdelegates who back Clinton have begun laying out scenarios under which they would abandon her for Obama.

In December, according to an Associated Press tally, Clinton led Obama by 106 superdelegates. In February, her lead had been cut to 87. As of Thursday, it was 30.

3. Reminds me of the Tortoise and the Hare......
Although Obama "looks" more like a Hare, and Hillary like a tortoise!

Hillary should have known that the primaries were going to be a marathon and not a sprint.

5. And note he is in ND this weekend
I just posted this in another thread:

ND is a caucus state. Remember what happened in Iowa? And Hillary just dissed ND today when she said that their delegates shouldn't count. When ND voted on Super Tuesday, their 13 pledged delegates ended up 8 for Obama and 5 for Clinton. What do you want to bet that changes after this weekend?

From TheGreenPapers:

"Friday 4 April - Sunday 6 April 2008: State Convention. 13 of 21 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders reflecting the support for the presidential contenders at the State Convention. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be allocated National Convention delegates at the statewide level.

8 district delegates are to be allocated proportionally to presidential contenders based on the preferences among the convention participants as a whole. North Dakota has a single statewide congressional district.
In addition, 5 delegates are to be allocated to presidential contenders based on the preferences among the convention participants as a whole.
"

I think Hillary is screwn and doesn't even know it.
