Clarification with links: Randi Rhodes event was fundraiser for Green960 radio station
NOT the Obama campaign as has been falsely claimed by some on DU.

Here is the link to Green960's website:

Here is the statement by Green960:

The Facts.

Comments made by Randi Rhodes were made during a Green 960 Event on March 22nd. Those in attendance were required to sign up through Green960.com and paid $5 to attend. Money raised went to Green960.

2. I've been saying the same all day but they have the taste of blood now....
and they're not willing to let go!!

I had a dog like that once, it was a 'city dog' but we moved to a farm and the dog got loose
and it ran to another farm and killed over 50 chickens!! Chickens mean $$ in farm country and
that is unforgivable behavior. My FIL hung a dead chicken around her (without my knowledge) neck
but this dog (as much as I loved her from a pup) wouldn't give it up!! Ugh!

So, they took her out and they shot her. They told me she was on "another" farm. :eyes:

They told me later there was no room on a farm for an unruly, killer, dog.

I cried for weeks. I've never forgot Sasha and I'll always love her but

I've moved on since then. It's hard but it has to happen to survive.

And I got a new dog since then!! I named her Thor!! ;)=

Big, bad, brute of a Rottweiler! Now that's a DOG!!! ;)

3. There was a post earlier DEMANDING Obama return the money.
No link to verify that it was an Obama fundraiser was ever posted despite repeated requests. It took me all of 3 minutes to find the link disproving the claim, but the original thread had been locked by then.

I thought I'd start this thread to prevent the "Obama must return the money from the Randi Rhodes fundraiser" BS from spreading, but I'll bet we'll see it at least 2 or 3 more times.

Hey Thor sounds like a dog I'd want on my side!

4. Don't wear yourself out... it's like shoveling shit against the tide....
The tide always wins. Always.

There are other ways to defeat, even though, your quest was a noble one. :applause:

Sometimes not reacting is the best way. Not giving them fodder. Not giving them attention.

You get my drift? 'Thor' is "trained" and only executes by my breathing and then my commands.

In other words, my dog senses my apprehension and automatically "goes on guard".

It's like having a sixth sense, the dog knows before I can relate it. Pretty cool, eh?

You and I have to develop that sense here. Dogs can't read words on a screen. ;)
