13. This is just my opinion but I think perhaps Edwards
does not feel strongly enough about either of the candidates to want to be their running mate. He might agree with Clinton on poverty and healthcare but disagrees with her corporate ties (and PAC money). He probably agrees with Obama about change,the way he raises money but disagrees with him on healthcare. My sense is if he felt strongly enough about either of them he would have picked a side in the very beginning. Perhaps he could have been pressured to keep quiet since the race was so close.
