Hillary, Lose Penn or Lose Penn.
In a Union state, with a Pennsylvania Union calling for Mark Penn to be fired, Hillary better listen.

Lobbying for Columbian Free Trade is a disgrace. This may be why Hillary's campaign has done so poorly, their top aide has been too busy and distracted wheeling and dealing American jobs overseas.

She has to lose Mark Penn, or lose the PA primary. It may be too late, already.

2. I think this one was the final nail.
She could very well lose her last "big state" because of this. That will be the end.

3. Notice the timing of their tax release.
They surprised us. Knowing how badly many wanted to see it, the taxes made the headlines, Penn's behavior went to the back pages.

7. That's what it is though. People were wondering why a Friday release.
A distraction from this seems likely.

9. This would have been "THE" story. But they held the taxes until they
needed cover.

10. The Clintons operate on 20th century news cycles.
The Friday news dump is so irrelevant in the digital age.
The way the Clinton's try to sweep things under the carpet (i.e. Bosnia)
is pretty mystifying until you realize that they're just out-of-date.
Their kitchen sinking bullshit floats on the Internet.

13. Yeah, I've often wondered where they have been the last 7 or 8 years.
The biggest reason for that is the Bosnia incident. Something like that could have been researched by Clinton on the internet and found what we all found just as easy. Either they are behind the times in technology or, and I think it is both, is that they seem to take people as idiots or something.

4. No matter one's political loyalty, PA unions cannot be blamed for
objecting to this contraindication by the Clinton campaign.

I'm pro-union to begin with, but even if I weren't, Penn has been a huge negative for Sen. Clinton in the nomination race.

I can't imagine how anything he brings to the positive side of her ledger can balance the negative this represents for many working families.

20. Yes. The unions don't have the same role they played when I was a
youngster but they're still around and they still matter.

My guess is they're going to matter a lot in Pennsylvania on the 22nd.

8. Oh, the blame is on her. She hired him and paid him millions.

And she loses on her own merits.

But, if she really wants to stay in the race until June, she has to win PA. She can't do it with Penn on board.

This is just the latest example of her horrible management and tone-deafness. And, could be the final nail.

14. Oh yeah. They are finished in PA as long as the news gets out.
And isn't it something they are not even talking about this on MSM? They still are talking about old news and pushing McSame - this is Live MSNBC anyway, and I doubt CNN would be talking about Penn.

Well, lets see, Tim Russert is up next at noon time on MSNBC. We'll see if they mention anything about Penn.

22. Funny but Ben Franklin didn't like the Penn family either.
How ironic that another scion of William Penn, he of the woods (sylvania in Latin)-hence Pennsylvania, would become relevant in this election!
:wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow::wow:

Old Ben must have known something about those Penn's.

How else did he get his picture to be 100 times more valuable than George Washington, who was after all, the father of the country?

I can only wonder what old Ben would have thought of Sean Penn...

24. Ed Rendell Hints that Penn should be fired.
A key backer of Hillary Clinton's White House bid gave her top strategist Mark Penn a less than ringing endorsement Sunday, following news Penn had met with the Colombian ambassador to promote a free trade agreement the New York senator opposes.

Appearing on NBC's Meet the Press, Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell didn't exactly give the longtime Clinton pollster a vote of confidence.

Asked directly if the campaign should cut ties with Penn, Rendell said, "Well there are a lot of issues in which you can raise that question."

"Yeah, I think you've got to make it very clear for someone who is a consultant, who you are representing and who you are not representing and I would hope that Mr. Penn when he talked to the Colombians made that clear," Rendell also said. "And it doesn't sound to me like he did and that's something the campaign should take into question."

Late last week it was reported by the Wall Street Journal that Penn had met with the Colombian ambassador on Monday to promote a free trade agreement that Hillary Clinton has sharply criticized on the campaign trail. Penn's P.R. firm Burson-Marsteller had a contract with Colombia to promote the agreement, though a spokesman for Colombia's president told the paper he didn't know if Penn was representing Clinton or his P.R. firm in the meeting.

On Friday, Penn said he was acting in his role as CEO of Burson-Marsteller and called the meeting a "error in judgment." Upset with that characterization, the Colombian government cut ties with Penn's firm on Saturday.
