"Hey Joe, sorry about your buddy getting killed yesterday in that fire fight, but good news,
back home these Obama supporters are really going after Hillary on if she had a bookbag. When we get chow, let's all talk about this. This is big. His supporters know how to get us out of here."

20. Well voting for a candidate that would end the war is a problem,
and me being in Vietnam protests in High School, I guess would garner some points, as a brother in law was blown up in some strange Vietnam village would. But the rating system of the Obama situational ethics crowd and worthiness factor would call me old and irrelevant. Oh and walking out of high school for three days with others to demand a holiday for MLK would be seen as goofy and wierd in the early seventies. By the way, we won, and the next year no school on MLK day.

But that's right, blame the older, as is poular for the ills, and not the solutions so prevelent in the Obama world. Nothing rises to their standard.

When the Obama supporters stop shitting all over everyone, then that WILL BE THE START, that I will gladly join.

So what's your resume?

I did what I could when I could.

31. Obama will keep the troops in Iraq for at least sixteen months. Longer if "the generals" tell him
that more time is needed.

And I'm guessing that if he somehow manages to get the nom and beat Popeye, once he has "the facts on the ground" that "the truth" (cough) will be that more time will suddenly, magically, be needed.

General Dynamics does NOT go gently into that good night. Neither does General Electric, owner of the MSGOP propaganda outlet. They'll want their quid pro quo.

Hey, he needs to make sure the Crown family gets their 'donations worth,' after all. They've been bankrolling him for awhile. http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/node/31965

You'll hold your nose. What else is new?

I want this war over too, you know. I think we all do. The problem is, the war is a burning fire that our country started. You know very well that if we just pulled out, the fire would still be burning and we would still be responsible.

How would you deal with that burning fire?

36. Here's what I know
We need more than a Democratic President if we want this war to end. We need over-majorities in both the House and the Senate. We need agreement from more than just the Democrats. We need a consensus from both parties.

I do not believe that Hillary Clinton will give us that future. I believe that if she were to win the presidency, she would face nothing but obstruction for her entire term.

I choose Barack Obama because I believe he will be able to give us the consensus we need to end the war.

34. What do you want? Impeachment? Oh...uh, hearings? Oh, wait...
A candidate that says impeachment is not a good idea? Guess which one that was.

Of course we need to know the truths, but of course with the current people like Pelosi, it's a non-starter.

So if the new bright shiny future is proposed by both candidate, the LEAST they can do is be more truthfull on ending the war.

41. We HAVE PROOF of Clintons loyalty to BushInc throughout the 90s as he deep-sixed all
Edited on Sat Apr-05-08 02:34 PM by blm
the outstanding matters of IranContra, Iraqgate, BCCI and CIA drugrunning operations for Poppy Bush and his powerful cronies.

THAT led to Bush2, 9-11, this Iraq war and our soon to be war with Iran, BUT that doesn't get you exercised at all, and in fact, you want Bush2 protected by Clinton2 into the next decade just as Bill did for Poppy in the 90s.

But you don't even really think about that, do you? Especially when you use that same TRAGIC RESULT of Clinton's coverups (Bush2, this Iraq war) to attack OTHER Democrats supporting someone other than Clinton?

There can BE NO TRUTHFUL ending to war with CLOSED GOVERNMENT and those Democrats who side with secrecy and privilege and have PROVEN it repeatedly.

There is a GREATER chance of ending the war truthfully with an open government Democrat who is surrounded by GREAT Open Government advocates with lengthy records of exposing the very government corruption that LED to the war you decry in your post.

The sooner you realize that this election is the last CHANCE that Democrats have to Open up our Government to accountability the sooner we can unite against those who stand against the citizenry as they stand with the secrecy and privilege of closed government.

Sorry, Nesh, but your lecturing post about using this war we shouldn't even be in, practically BEGGED for this type of reality bite back.

Watch out for the 'crazies' who believe in actually READING the reports other citizens ignore.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x3108716

In fact, those of us who READ these reports see those who are involved in these illegal operations as the real 'crazies' running the nation with the 'crazy' agenda for global fascism.

44. The book bag isn't the important point. It's that anyone is questioning
it in the first place. Her "truthiness" meter has apparently broken and after the taped debunking of the Bosnia tale, any story she tells makes you wonder what's real and what's not. My first reaction to her claim that she shook hands with MLK when she was 14 was "Yeah, right," although it may very well have happened.
