Fighting vs working together
I am tired of a "fighting" executive branch.

The whole aspect of "fighting" , automatically presumes that the person sitting opposite you, or "across the aisle" HAS to be an adversary..

It also sets up the agenda for just about everything you hope to achieve, to be met with fierce opposition.

A new adminsistration should at least START on a hopeful note, not as a "new sheriff in town, ready to kick asses".

More and more the HRH campaign sounds like a Revenge Match...to avenge wrongs done to them in the "olden days".

To be sure, there ARE things worth fighting for, but a clever "combatant" knows how to bend the will of the adversary without an actual FIGHT.

At this particular point in time, when republicans are at their weakest in decades, a democratic win should be a foregone conclusion, so bragging about how you are itching for a fight, when a win should be a walk-over, says more about YOU, than about your adversaries.

We need level-headed, calm discussion & negotiation...NOT wild & crazy fighting. We've had a steady diet of that stuff for far too long now.. It's time for change.. a change back toward sanity & confidence...and away from paranoid vengeance.

We need someone to tell the reich wing to take NO for a fucking answer. THEIR policies have caused immeasurable damage. I don't think we should appease that, and allow ourselves to be compromised to further damage.

You have to tell the repig to take no for an answer.

"NO!!! to prayer in public schools." *****NOT**** oh, let's talk about it, maybe we can appease you.

"NO!!! to privatizing our public schools." ***NOT*** oh, I'm open to the idea...

"NO!!! to leaving our troop in Iraq until 2010" ***NOT*** maybe I'll leave that paper from my advisor alone for a while.

"NO!!! to anti choice, anti gay rights, anti world aid" ***NOT*** lipservice.

These people should not be reckoned with. They should have a foot shoved so far up their ass that shoe laces are dangling outta their nostrils when they show up at minority meetings.

What on earth makes you think...what on earth...what policy has the reich wing done that makes YOU think these people should be appeased?

It frightens me more and more with each passing say the number of people who want to suck the proverbial elephant schlong, while agreeing that other fellow democrats are nothing but "fucking whores".
