12. She is definitely, and very publicly bleeding support at this point...
but I still won't call for her to drop out. This is a decision she'll have to make on her own. I'm just afraid that her exit is going to be less than graceful. But, it's still her decision.

41. I think she will too, but it's how she leaves the race that will determine
her future, IMHO. For the party's sake, I don't want her to feel she was pushed out by Obama or his surrogates. I want her & her supporters to come to that realization on their own. And once the money has dried up, she'll eventually have to accept that. I think there's a reason Obama's outraising her 2:1, and that reality can't be lost on her and her supporters.

43. meanwhile, the delay is raising a lot of money for Obama.
I wonder if he can roll that money over into the general election? Otherwise it seems like he'll have a lot left over.

40 million in March. That's over a million and a quarter a day.

16. I'd like to believe the end is in sight and we can turn our
attention to stopping the downward slide that began in 2000. Shortly, the disruptors will move on and we can restore peace and civility at DU. Sadly we have let these people lower the tone of a place that has always felt like home to me. I hope the Clintons will realize that they have a responsibility to enable the healing in our party.

63. it cannot happen...no matter how you want it
Clinton would need to win at 64% of the vote in all remaining contests, but one (PA) where she would need to win 65% of the vote to secure the lead in pledged delegates.
http://www.slate.com/id/2185278/

It is not going to happen. Senator Obama also picked up 17 pledged delegates over the weekend to Hillary's 1. Eight of those pledged delegates had been in Edward's camp.

39. When she finally allows herself to feel/face all that humiliation, it will be melt-down time.
Imagine the unholy strength of will it has taken for her to deny the pain of his constant and repeated choice of women far less intelligent and educated than her - That 12 year affair with Gennifer Flowers must have started when Chelsea was a toddler.

HRC should have cut her losses re her failed marriage about 25 years ago. She seems unable to admit a mistake and get on with her remaining choices in life. That is a quality one definitely does not want in a president. If Lyndon Johnson and subsequent presidents operated like that, the US would still be fighting in Vietnam.

So, just as we see very little chance of her winning now, but still see her in the race. So will it be even if she loses every state until the convention.

now Obama 219, Clinton 246

Huckabee Index down to 67! Only 67 more superdelegate endorsements for Senator Obama needed to put the nomination out of reach mathematically for Senator Clinton.

55. Corzine opened the door to a possible switch.
New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine (D), who has already endorsed Sen. Hillary Clinton, said in a CNBC interview this morning that he may cast his vote at the Democratic convention for Sen. Barack Obama if Clinton doesn't win the popular vote.

While Corzine emphasized he still thinks Clinton will win the popular vote, he did open the door to a possible switch.

I have thought for some time, because of the statements of many SD's, they will break for the leader before or at the Convention. It is good to hear it from a loyal Clinton Supporter like Corzine.
