Denmark might be the happiest country in the world

But some statistics I can do without.

The above is 24 year old Christian Raaschou.

He was the 15th danish soldier to die in Afghanistan. Does not sound like much. There are only 5,6 mil of us though. That put Denmark in the unwanted "lead" of having lost the most soldiers per capita in Afghanistan.
(And he was the fifth to die from the group send down there recently. A group that has one my friends in it.)

And now stories are slowly surfacing here, on how the prime minister (A prime minister that recently visited Bush in Crawford and said they shared a view on freedom of people. Scary stuff.) was warned about how focusing on our contribution in Iraq would put the operation in Afghanistan, and consequently the reputation and existence of NATO, at risk. And most importantly, the soldiers themselves.

So there will be more than happy americans if you guys select a president that can end the mess in Iraq and hopefully also in Afghanistan as a result.

So if you are one the ones threatening to not vote democratic or vote for McCain if your candidate is not on the ballot come november, take a good look at the picture, and think twice. Please.
