I'm so worried about what's hapenin' today, in the middle east, you know And I'm worried about the baggage retrieval system they've got at Heathrow I'm so worried about the fashions today, I don't think they're good for your feet And I'm so worried about the shows on TV that sometimes they want to repeat
I'm so worried about what's happenin' today, you know And I'm worried about the baggage retrieval system they've got at Heathrow I'm so worried about my hair falling out and the state of the world today And I'm so worried about bein' so full of doubt about everything, anyway
I'm so worried about modern technology I'm so worried about all the things that they dump in the sea I'm so worried about it, worried about it, worried, worried, worried
I'm so worried about everything that can go wrong I'm so worried about whether people like this song I'm so worried about this very next verse, it isn't the best that I've got And I'm so worried about whether I should go on, or whether I should just stop
I'm worried about whether I ought to have stopped And I'm worried about, it's the sort of thing I ought to know And I'm worried about the baggage retrieval system they've got at Heathrow
I'm so worried about whether I should have stopped then I'm so worried that I'm driving everyone 'round the bend I'm worried about the baggage retrieval system they've got at Heathrow

about supporters of either candidate who say they will vote for McCain in the GE if their pick doesn't win the nomination. That has far more repercussions than someone who wants their bible signed.
It's over the top but in the grand scheme of things, pretty harmless.

learn that a Hillary supporter had asked Hill to sign his bible?
It wouldn't surprise me or lead me to then try to apply that instance to any group.
What would really surprise me is if no one anywhere asked anyone to sign their bible ever. I say this as an agnostic.

24. Haven't noticed them making excuses for his comments about arriving under sniper fire... |
|
Oh, wait, that was a bunch of HRC supporters doing that on HER behalf, wasn't it.
And if someone wants a person to sign their personal bible, what the hell business is it of yours?
How does that compare with making excuse after excuse for the flip flopping and outright lying Hillary has been caught in over and over? Hillary's lies and windsock behavior would affect us all if she should miraculously get elected. Too many of her supporters seem to accept anything she does and then go on to make lame excuses for her screw-ups; or try to change the subject in some foolish hope we won't notice Hillary being dishonest or demonstrating incredibly poor judgment over and over again. Hardly the same as some autograph-hound asking for Michelle's signature.
Michelle, like her husband seems to inspire people. What is wrong with a citizen wanting a tangible reminder of meeting such an inspirational person?
Trying to find fault in simple things like that is a much better example of the behavior of fanatics.
Keep grasping at straws and inviting straw men into the discussion, it is what bush fanatics do. The tactic has been well documented among too many Clinton fanatics too.

78. Senator Clinton is the devil we know |
|
Senator Obama is the one we don't know.
Policy-wise, there doesn't seem to be much difference between the two. But think ahead to '09: Bush is going to leave so many land mines and time bombs everywhere that the next President will be despised no matter how well he (or she) handles it. Not to mention the economy is already FUBAR. Might as well have a President who is used to the slings and arrows of the press, who will knuckle down and get to work, and not waste any time trying to reason with the rabid weasels of the far right instead of doing the only proper, practical thing: run the bastards over with a fucking steamroller.
HRC is not my friend, but she is the enemy of my enemy. BHO isn't my friend either, but he doesn't seem to have any enemies except for within his own party. That's a bad sign, especially ominous since liberals who should damn well know better are too busy tossing his salad to notice.
Or maybe 7 years of Bush really has driven me around the bend. YMMV and all that.

85. How much of a blank slate does BHO have? |
|
It has been considered by many that Senators and Representatives have a more difficult time to be elected President by virtue of the votes they cast effecting all voters.
It has generally been Governors, Vice Presidents and military heroes that have been elected. Governors because of their governing. Vice Presidents because of the conceived notion that they may carry out the same policies as their predecessor and already knows much of the job. Military heroes... well who knows why.
In essence Hillary could be placed at the same level as a Vice President because of her activism in the inner workings of the administration. Unlike, either of the Bush wives, or any other First Lady in recent times. If they had been ready for a female President Eleanor might had a good one from the start of her term because of her involvement.
I'm sure that Hillary would make sure to clean house of any scumbag holdover Republican doesn't deserve to keep their job. She would know who needed to go while Obama might take a while to figure out who needed to go. Hmmm that would be a big plus.
Personally, I wouldn't want a candidate that has mostly a blank slate. I want to know by their actions how they would vote and what they would do when they got into office.

But doubt that many had a good response. And those that tried failed. Because they didn't have a good response he became President. Just because one doesn't have anything concrete as to why they don't like him or feel one is not the better candidate does not rule it out.
