What the hell is happening in South Dakota?
Are there voting machines there?

Herseth was ahead by two percent, and just a minute ago it went like this:

HERSETH D 122,683 50%
DIEDRICH R 120,585 50%

1. GOP-heavy precincts reporting.
Don't worry too much. Half of the precincts left are from reservations. It's in the bag.

4. I hope to God you are right
If we win this one it will be "very" significant.

They had Laura Bush out there this week, and if we win against her influence, I think that will bode will for us in the general election.

7. What are you talking about?
It went from 51-49 to 50-50. That is a perfectly normal thing to occur. Now, Herseth is leading 51-49 again because heavily democratic Shannon county began to come in.
