"Protest to Support Hillary Clinton" April 11? A protest FOR a candidate?
Edited on Sun Apr-06-08 05:18 PM by faygokid
Came across this one from another post noting this pro-Hillary, anti-Obama site. Apparently Hillary supporters are supposed to show up to "protest" on the Today Show April 11.

I have been to rallies for candidates, but a "protest" for a candidate? That should be amusing. I'm looking forward to seeing it, if it happens. Anyway, here's the link; description follows: http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net/discussion/showthread.php?t=4212

Hillary Clinton Supporters Taking Action!!! Please join in our contest!!!

Attn: All media organizations

Re: Hillary Supporters Demonstration

When: April 11th at 8:00am

Where: Rockefeller plaza, NYC

Why: We are all very passionate Hillary Clinton supporters that demand to be heard for Hillary! We refuse to stand by and watch this election become corrupt and unfair!!

"It Takes A Village..." and we are Hillary's Village!
We have three main reasons for this demonstration:

1. We want the country to know we are fed up with the biased/sexist media coverage against our candidate Hillary Clinton!

2. We demand that the DNC allow Florida and Michigan to be seated.

3. We demand the media STOP saying Hillary should quit the race.

Please join us to have our voice heard!!!

11. I assume you'll be at the "protest," then?
Screaming and waving an "It's Not Fair" sign?

Can't wait to see it.

2. Protesting FOR Hillary is part of their "victim" mentality
Despite the fact she has no realistic chance to win any longer, she has framed her loss as a loss for all womanhood, and the sheep are rallying to her defense.

5. I can't see anyone who actually got out
in 20 degree weather and protested for hours against bombing Iraq to protest for someone who help authorize the bombing with her vote.

That's what turned me against hilary but I took the bombing of Iraq, personally.

6. How embarrassing.
Can you imagine Obama folks got up a demonstration over the media coverage pastor Wright? We'd be accused to threatening the social order or something.

8. Fortunately, our side doesn't conduct such "protests."
It's a bizarre manifestation of the mentality of some of her supporters. They simply can't deal with any criticism of her whatsoever.

Fascinating.
