Obama was right in voting to fund the war |
|
If you try and talk the suicidal out of jumping overboard, you still throw him the lifeline even if he jumps. Not voting to fund the war when there were real Americans getting shot at and bombed in Iraq would have been irresponsible. Hillary should realize this.

1. Hillary could have voted against the war's start. Not Obama. |

2. They both voted to continue funding the war |
|
Their positions on what they will do regarding Iraq are quite similar.

4. He was not in the Senate when the IWR was voted upon. |
|
And...with the troops committed to war by that ass-fuck in the WH, we all fear that if funding was cut, that the POS would not bring them home, but would leave them there unprotected to prove some sick point he was trying to make.
Sooo...once the troops were deployed, it was pretty necessary to see that they had to funds needed to protect and safeguard them. I can fully see why it was essential in the minds of most to vote for the funding at this point.

6. Uh i don't think that is true. |
|
Congress has the authority to fund or not. president can veto it. So here is a scenario. They withhold funding for combat to continue, but fund enough for an orderly withdrawal. Why wasn't that a option for "i was against the war before i actually kept funding the war" Obama? Did he ever suggest this? No no no no no no . He is guilty as the rest, stop enabling him please.

7. Except for the fact that Obama NEVER supportered the war.... |
|
....and Hillary voted in favor of the IWR. If you call that "even," I am not sure how you do that.

9. Clinton and Obama are both wrong to fund the war. |
|
They could have voted no. What do you mean by "Hillary should realize this"? They are both equally guilty on this one. Voting no on funding will not stop the war, but it is taking a stand.

Exactly...if obama was taking a stand agaist the war he should remain taking stand and voting against funding the war...voting yes for funding the war made him a hipocrite. Is this the change we need? A person making a stand and backing down?

10. One of my biggest complaints |
|
With the Obama supporters I know personally is that they don't care about his funding votes, but they were ready to tar and feather Reid and Pelosi for 'ingoring the mandate to leave Iraq' from the begining of the new Congress to the day the went Obama. One of them blogged on the subject extensively. Harry and Nancy were traitors, cowards, weaklings and Bush enabelers. And yet Obama does the same thing and he now agrees with funding the war. I do not understand that at all.
