North Carolina WRAL Poll: Obama 56, Clinton 33

WRAL News Poll: Obama Has Double Digit Lead in N.C.

Raleigh, N.C. — Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama has a commanding lead over Hillary Rodham Clinton in North Carolina, but he might face greater difficulties than she against likely Republican nominee John McCain in the general election.

In the latest WRAL News poll, 56 percent of likely voters said they would give Obama their support in the Democratic primary. Thirty-three percent chose Clinton, and 11 percent were unsure.

A WRAL News poll in early March showed Obama with a seven-point lead.

3. I live in NC and will be voting for Obama
IMO Hillary is just too entrenched in the current Washington power structure. I don't know for sure that Obama will be better, but it is not a hard choice for me to make at all - I will vote for Obama and hope he is serious about bringing change.

4. Does Clinton have to win NC by 65% to win the election? If she loses by
20%, would she have to win by 70% in the other contests?
