Do you remember when Republicans and conservative pundits were saying that the surge was the right thing to do? That it would work? Do you remember when some of the slightly more "rational" ones said that Bush deserved "one last chance"? Do you remember when they said it'll need 6 more months before they would "know whether it worked", more than 6 months ago?

Do you remember when liberals all around the world predicted that the war would be a disaster, predicted that no WMD would be found, predicted that the surge would not work?

And John McCain is currently polling at or near 50%, even though he has said Iraq can last another hundred years.

i remember the macniel/lehrer coverage when cliton was going into bosnia and all the wailing and gnashing of teeth about saving the bosnians(yes, forget all about WW1). OH, we will lose soldiers over there yada yada yada. so from then on kept count. we lost THREE soldiers in bosnia, 7 in a helicopter crash in kosovo, 1 by suicide, 1? and did we get ANYTHING like that for iWaq? afghanistan i can understand, but iWaq?

i hate amerikkkans.

U.S troops directing Iraqi troops to go in and shoot the insurgents up. They have a hard time shooting each other. Maybe 100 years they will change their minds and start shooting up each other.
