This week the news coverage will be all about Iran, Olympics, civil defense drills in the ME, North
Korea, and how the French handle pirates. It looks like a pretty dull week for the campaigns. Maybe we can take a break from the hate fest for a couple of days.

1. I HOPE people will pay attention to the Iraq hearings
Unfortunately, the three candidates will be making a rare appearance in the Senate and possibly distract from the substance. On the other hand, maybe more people will remember the war and that we have two other branches of government that we might be able to use again in a few months.

5. Nope, the media has spent the weekend looking through every detail of those returns
And Mark Penn happened today and will lead off the morning shows tomorrow.
