1. Shows how well they understand black voters
This is how Republicans reach out to black voters. Do a few photo ops kissing black babies, reading to children in a predominantly black elementary school, have Reuben Studdard sing God Bless America at the Rrepublican National Convention, etc. Blacks are smarter than that and see right through it, but such tactics are largely aimed at independent, wishy washy white voters--often women--who don't like to think of themselves as racist and such depictions make them feel like the Republicans are no longer a racist party.

3. The Rock didn't exactly get dubya a lot of votes in 2000...
King's endorsement is worth even less.

7. I don't recallThe Rock supporting Bush
He did speak at the GOP convention in 2000, though, but that was a WWF PR move.

I have heard him say he is not very political.

4. Um, "often women"?
That aside, both parties play these sort of pandering games. The GOP is absurdly hypocritical when they try to attach themselves to black issues every fourth year after doing nothing for race relations the previous three.

6. Please provide a cite to support your "often women" statement.
Women are far more likely to vote for Democratic candidates than are men.

8. "Please provide support for your world is round statement"
There are things too basic to even get into if someone doesn't get them. Suburban women are the chief target of political faux inclusion.

What's the point in pretending to not understand things you understand perfectly well?

Who is more racist, men or women? Who favors inclusion in general, as well as compromise... men or women? What group of women can be seduced into voting Republican by bullshit shows of compassion/inclusion? Married suburban white women. Unmarried women are solidly democratic as are urban women and non-white women.

5. Hehehehe
yeah, congrats repukes on your real big coup in lining up Don King. Maybe if you're lucky you won't lose too many votes on account of him being on your team. ROTFLMAO

10. Do Republicans now support allowing felons to vote?
Is that what they are saying?

11. Here's why Don King helps Bush*
With more than 90% of the black vote going Democratic in 2000, Bush* knows he has little chance of getting many votes from the black community. His efforts at diversity are not meant to attract black votes; They are meant to reassure voters in the middle that Bush* is not a racist.
