1. Obama and supporters have no problem with the rules.
"If, while heeding the party's rules,.." The sentence continues below, but the first part is wrong. There's no problem if Hillary doesn't break the rules. The problem lies with her breaking the rules.

"the Democratic superdelegates overturn those majorities, Obama's supporters claim, they will have displayed a cynical contempt for democracy that would tear the party apart."

2. superdelegates?
These superdelegates are part of the rules, Obama can't pick and choose.

He wants to seat delegates in Mich and Florida, but not according to how they voted.

this looks like it will go to the convention

3. That's right SD's are part of the rules. How she goes about gaining the SD's
is the part that needs to be watched. This is to whether she goes by the rules for instance with MI and FL or whether she doesn't. Obama said seat the delegates, she said no. Dean said the rules apply for MI and FL and Hillary doesn't want to go by the rules. Hillary wants to go to the convention and try to steal it. Period.

4. That article's author (Sean Wilentz) is a bigtime Hillary shill
His article is short on objectivity and long on excuses/rationalizations on why Hillary isn't winning.

7. Oh good, noted race-relations expert Sean Wilentz wants to say something.
And, what a surprise, it's treacle. "If", indeed.
