Hillary - Where are the bank statements?
Since the release of your "tax returns," I find myself asking the same questions over and over again.

Why isn't there more dirt? We were told repeatedly that you were hiding some real nasty shit. Why wasn't there more? It doesn't make any sense. I was really counting on it.

The only reasonable answer is that you lied on your tax returns. I am afraid, to be fully "vetted," we need more.

To clear your good name, I demand that you release your bank statements for the last 8 years. Every account. But that is only the tip of the iceberg. I am also going to need:

1) Grocery shopping lists for the past 25 years. What were your really feeding your family? Did Chelsea get her USRDA of every macro-nutrient, vitamin & mineral? I need to know, now.

2) Vehicle maintenance receipts for the last 10 years. Did you really change your oil every 3,000 miles? Did you keep your tires properly inflated? Did you have Armor-All applied to the dash to prevent cracking? My gut says no...

3) Girl Scout Cookie orders for the last 30 years. Did you support the Girl Scouts in Arkansas? How about DC? How about NY? You are going to need prove that you aren't a cheap old clam.

4) Halloween candy distribution reports for the last 10 years. Did you buy premium candy like "Snicker's," "Skittles," & "Butterfinger," or did you give away unsharpened-pencils? My money is on the office supplies (Schedule C deduction, after all.)

5) Finally, we are going to need your photo-processing receipts for the last 30 years. Did you always order double prints? How about the premium "Kodak" photo finishing? Always 4x6s or did you spring for the glossy 5x7s?

I am going to need these documents before the PA primary, April 22.

If you don't provide them in a timely manner, well, lets just hope you do.

Edited on Mon Apr-07-08 01:33 PM by Occam Bandage
Rush Limbaugh's "OPERATION CHAOS" Republicans were unable to fuck with the caucus the same way they did the primary. Only real, committed Democrats were able to show up.

You know, Team Hillary always blames their organizational ineptitude on the poor working families unable to spare an hour in the evening, but nobody has ever presented evidence that Hillary supporters are less able to attend caucuses than Obama supporters. In fact, historically retirees and women have been the most reliable caucus attendees--and those are Hillary's prime bases. The fact that Obama wins caucuses is in spite of the makeup of attendees, not because of it, and is attributable to his superior GOTV infrastructure.

31. Yet another excuse for which no evidence has been put forward,
save the occasional unsupported anecdote. There is no evidence whatsoever that the caucus system is innately biased towards Obama. The only evidence either way is the demographic makeup of attendees in previous years--and that would suggest Clinton would be moderately favored.

Obama's campaign placed a nationwide emphasis on winning caucus states. Clinton's campaign didn't. Obama won caucus states handily--and that's because he's a smart executive, not because the caucus system favors him.

And if there is dirt, find some. The Obama people have been screaming for weeks. "Where are the tax returns???" Now...not such a big deal, is it?

Moreover, there are unanswered questions about some of Bill Clinton's business ties that could cause trouble for his wife's campaign.

<...>

The former president earned $15.4 million from billionaire Ron Burkle's Yucaipa Cos. investment firm since 2003, according to the tax documents. Tax lawyers said the Yucaipa partnership income for Clinton, 61, looks to be a form of salary because it was in round numbers for most years, raising questions about what services he performed for Los Angeles-based Yucaipa, whose investors include the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid al-Maktoum.

InfoUSA

Bill Clinton also earned $800,000 in 2006 and 2007 as an adviser to infoUSA Inc., a data-mining company owned by Vinod Gupta, a longtime supporter.

InfoUSA shareholders sued over the payments to Clinton and over the more than $146,000 it spent to fly the Clintons to Acapulco in 2002. Gupta has said the expenditures were legitimate. In December, the company's chief financial officer said the Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating.

Clinton also invested in an offshore hedge fund, Quellos Alpha Engine LP, run by Seattle-based Quellos Group LLC. In 2006, a Senate panel detailed in a report how Quellos Group had ``designed, promoted and implemented'' an illegal tax shelter based on fake securities transactions and shell companies.

You are Baghdad Bob with good HTML formatting.

If it is a tax-shelter, how come they paid income tax on K-1 income? That doesn't make any sense. If it were a tax-shelter to them, it would have losses that you could pass-through to offset Sch C, Sch E, and regular W2/1099 income.

52. You said, "The same Bloomberg...?" The answer is no, not the same Bloomberg.
Different entities.

53. I still don't follow. I will make it real easy for you.
Michael Bloomberg is not just an owner in his company/partnership. He owns for that 2/3 of it. He makes 84%, personally, of the revenue.

His name has been floated around here as a possible running mate for Obama.

If someone links to a Bloomberg article, that makes no sense in the context, then I reserve my right to be highly skeptical.

54. The question was, "The same Bloomberg?" It was not, "A very closely affiliated entity
also popularly referred to as Bloomberg?"

55. Yeah...it is the same -
Or at least 72% of it.

I will believe, as a rule, 28% of every Bloomberg article. Happy?

90. It cracks me up that any nut job that attacks clinton is given airtime.
Edited on Tue Apr-08-08 08:58 AM by Evergreen Emerald
It is also pretty funny that Obama was demanding Clinton's tax return when he had not even produced his...the media let that one pass as he slipped them out after hounding Clinton--without a peep from the media.

And again, she gives more exposure than anyone ever has...and in keeping with the distortions and attacks, the nut jobs keep nodding in stepford like fashion.

What a bunch of bullshit.

Where are Obama's State Senate records? "I don't have them." Gee? What is he hiding? I think the hypocrites should be disclosing their information before shouting for other's.

96. Ain't that the truth...
The tactics between the Obama camp & the Bush 2000 campaign are remarkably similar -

1. Reform & Reshape Gov't.

2. Doesn't know some stuff. Will pack the cabinet with smart people.

3. Outsider. Not part of the D.C. Crowd.

4. Hillary Clinton has a black baby.
