WHile Kerry does not lead, this seriously puts a dent in Bush's lead in Tennessee, where he had a double digit lead a month ago.

1. What's with
all of these fractional results?

Something is considered accurate to two or three percent but gets reported into the tenths of a percent?

2. well
maybe it has something to do with the interactive online method of polling that allows more fractional results?

5. Nah
If I poll six people and one of them like Bush I can report that as 16.6667 if I want to.

But you would have to poll tens of thousands of people to make .1% relevant in any way. Probably over 100k.

4. I live in TN and I know LOTS of people who voted for Bush in 2000 but
WILL NOT vote for him this time. I also know LOTS of people who have NEVER voted that WILL vote for Kerry. I think if Kerry pick the right vice president candidate that he will carry TN (plus Democrat Governor Bredson is very popular with both Democrats and Republicans, he has 78% approval rating.
ELECT KERRY 2004!!!!

7. Hi Gayle!
I'm in Tennessee, too!
:)

And this poll is new - it came out May 19 or 20th. It was a shocker to a lot of my Shrubbie-lovin' co-workers. Hahahaha!

6. Zogby Interactive= Worthless
Polls are not scientific and they are done over the internet.

These results do nothing but give us false confidence.

8. That maybe true
But, in this case, I think it's fairly accurate - at least from what I hear from people, what I see - that sort of thing. I think Tennessee is actually probably a little more split that this poll would indicate.
We may be this year's Florida, unfortunately.
But, we don't use Diebolds or touchscreens, thank the Lord in Heaven.
