Penn may well cost Clinton Pennsylvania.
Ohio and PA aren't so different. They're both states with a large failing manufacturing base. They're concerned about the loss of jobs to free trade agreements.

A carefully-timed story about Obama secretly supporting NAFTA, although untrue, had a big impact on the voters of Ohio...and many of them voted for Clinton because of it.

The Penn issue isn't a rumor, it's documented fact. Clinton's chief strategist...the man effectively running her campaign...has been trying to sell a free-trade agreement to Columbia. There's no way that Clinton was unaware of this.

I find it poetically just that the same issue the Clinton campaign created to sink Obama in Ohio will kill her in PA.

1. Well THAT would be ironic!

2. Between enthusiastic support for Barack in the Philly burbs and the Penn story...
I wouldn't be surprised by an Obama win!

3. Yes, it is poetic justice, isn't it?
It's like so many other things that have been flung by the HRC campaign, only to come back and bite 'em in the ass.

Someone should have explained to Penn months ago the consequences of throwing boomerangs - and judging by the money he's pulling in, you'd think he would have known at least that much.

5. Palast is lurking in PA
eyes on the prize

close elections - closed source E-votes - no paper trails

I hope Obama surges like a tsunami in PA... makes hanky panky more difficult.

15. The free trade/NAFTA hit was a long time coming.
And with all her pretzel machinations trying to wipe some Obama, I'd say the hit is well deserved.

18. I think it's not a good idea to get overconfident HOWEVER...
I think if the Penn story gets out to enough voters in PA, HRC is done.
