I mean, he can see the writing on the wall finance-wise with Hillary's campaign (she only pulled in about $7M in funds usable in the Primary last month) and maybe he figures he's milked her for all she's worth. He would like to get out before she finally flames out entirely also, then he can claim it wasn't his fault.
