Clinton and Obama have their work cut out for them today...
Edited on Tue Apr-08-08 08:15 AM by TwoSparkles
In a way, all of us are united--because both Democratic candidates will go up against
Patraeus and the neocon machine--as Obama and Clinton demand answers and make their case
about the tragic human and monetary costs of this war.

The neocons know that all eyes will be on this stage, and they will be prepared to
put the smack-down on both of our candidates, who want to end this war.

Today will be horrendously interesting.

Both of our candidates will be under a microscope on this one. Their questions, comments,
grasp of national security issues and ability to challenge this war--could be make
or break moments.

This really is an amazing opportunity for both of our candidates--to showcase their skills
and knowledge. The neocons, undoubtedly, are ready for us---let's hope we are ready for them.

Godspeed to both of our candidates, as they navigate this interview with Patraeus.

regarding the spike in US military casualties since last weekend.

5. I'm watching MSNBC...and it's supposed to...
...start shortly--within the next 10 minutes or so.

It sounds like sometime around 8:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. CST.
