Is it too early to start planning for a PEACEFUL Democratic Convention?
There's been a lot of talk of "blood on the convention floor" and Republican individuals who are possibly going to go to the convention to disrupt the event. Is it too early to start talking about training our groups of convention goers in the ways of maintaining the peace? I don't know what that's called, I've heard of it being used with activists/marchers for the Jena 6 and also saw it in action when the group from Canada was protesting and the cops posing as protesters tried to provoke them into a riot (they were called out when photos of their boots were put online and shown to be police-issue). A group of 50 somethings kept the peace by telling the protesters over and over not to respond to the provocation and their persistence paid off.

I know the convention is usually a place of celebration and screaming and yelling for our candidate, but this is not your normal Democratic Primary. Does anyone else think we should go into this one with a priority of keeping the peace?

7. The DNC needs "change"

not just the country. The workers are not represented under those trade deals.

They want the candidate picked before the convention so they can just have a "pep rally". It's too many millions to just hand over our party to those globalists and war mongers. They allowed it at the last convention. It was outrageous.

Elections are the "peaceful" way of changing government otherwise we'd have to do it in the streets with guns and violence. If the people aren't allowed to speak and be represented as to their interests....there will be chaos and violence. Silence the delegates and people and there will be no "peace".

17. I live in America
And I know plenty of hippies of all ages and income brackets. Tons of them. What is going on in your region, who knows? Here, plenty. Hope that does not upset you too much. If the hippies left my city, we'd be without half our businesses and some of our elected representitives.

6. The threats of violence from Obama followers is no reason for concern.
It's just the typists. Real Obama supporters are nothing like the typists.
