Poll question: Clinton Supporters: If Hillary loses PA, will you admit it's over and back Obama?
Edited on Tue Apr-08-08 01:58 PM by Kerry2008
Hillary Clinton's huge lead is shrinking.

Almost every poll I've seen has showed just that.

Senator Obama has two weeks to close the gap, and I'm sure he has the ability to pull out a small victory in the state.

So my question to Clinton supporters is respectively, if your candidate doesn't win in this important state will you concede and back the soon-to-be nominee Barack Obama?

I hope so. Victory in November is more important than one candidate or one campaign.

1. Who are the idiots who voted for the McCain option? Sheesh.
I meant that more or less as a joke.

5. My guess is that they are 'visitors' to our site, not actual Dem voters.

6. Probably Obama supporters attempting to make Hillary supporters look bad.
Since you can't exclude Obama supporters from voting in this poll, that's the most rational explanation.

8. I wish that were an option, I don't wish to paint either side negatively. Just asking a question.
I hope if she loses PA, we can all come together.

We'll see...

20. What is the "mccain option" and why post a poll if you are going to call the respondents "idiots?"

2. No Hillary supporters I know would vote for the McCain option.
That's the thing about these online tests...they don't represent what Clinton supporters think, because Obama supporters vote for the worst option to make us look bad.

I'll comfortably say that I'll support Obama in the GE. How many times do we, as Hillary supporters, have to say that?

And I do understand that a couple of people have said that they'd vote for McCain...but 99% of us will vote for the nominee.

4. I hope more Clinton supporters come in, and comment...yes, the polls are easily hijacked.

19. How many times do we have to say that?
I hear ya, Maddy.

It's like they trash our candidate 24/7, tell us we suck and we need "professional help" ... but "Please support Obama! Please join the Unity Train. You'll have to sit in the back, but it's ok, right?". :eyes:

7. I will go with whoever has the "d" after their name in nov. doesn't mean
I will "back" anyone, certainly not someone who has given me as much concern as obama.

11. Really...explain to me Hillary's path to victory then? How can she win the nomination?
Edited on Tue Apr-08-08 02:03 PM by Kerry2008
Do it. Explain to me the math, the states we can win that'll put her ahead, the strategy.

Do it without insulting me, which is your normal strategy.

I'm all ears. Last time I checked even her campaign aides were telling Politico privately she had 10% chance left of winning the nomination...

17. I'd rather surprise you instead..
I love the overconfidence of the Obama campaign and his supporters.

The Bigger they are, the Harder they fall!

21. I'm not overconfident at all
I do not believe Obama has the nomination locked up and I think Obama supporters need to stop talking about the math and start working hard to help him pull off an upset in PA so that he can actually end it. The worst case scenario to me is one where she wins most of the later primaries and ends with the momentum and maybe even the popular vote but he has more pledged delegates. In that case, neither candidate will seem legitimate as the nominee and we'll be so divided there's no way we can win in the fall.

14. You should get rid of option 5
We all think Hillary is going to win PA. But it's a good poll otherwise, measuring what they would think if she doesn't. But giving them the option to just say she will win it ruins the poll...we all think she will win there.
