3. Where is the fucking end game? What will it take to get out of there? |
|
Does everything have to be fucking perfect?
Ambassador stammers....uh, uh....it's more complicated than that. i.e., I don't know......now one has given me the answer.

8. The endgame can only begin when our domestic enemy in the WH is gone |

McCain lost the election today by hitching himself to Bush's wagon yet again.
Crocker is the most annoying speaker I've ever heard, he's not very smart either.

Well if the Bush mind set wins, it will be full control of Iraq oil, and a foothold to invade the rest of the countries in the middle east who have large oil reserves!
The only thing that will get us out is a president that will do the will of the people, not the will of the big oil companies who want to rule the world by controlling all the sources of energy! The only choice I see for that happening between the three senators who want to be that person, is Obama. We all know without a doubt that McCain is going to carry on the Bush agenda. We also are seeing more and more that Hillary is going to have all the same lobbyists, and big money behind her if she were president, so we pretty much know she will not make the needed changes to get out of this war either.
While I will always believe Edwards would have been the best candidate, I now will support Obama over Hillary!

basically, 'what would constitute success in Iraq'?.
Joe Biden said they would come back to the issue since the answer was not given.

7. Seems he made a big blunder as I recall and it stuck out like a sore thumb |
|
In a debate in january, Charlie Gibson was cross examining Obama about the occupation and asked was the surge working, he stated no. Then today, he did say the surge had been working for several months. Those statements were a blunder and it has been picked up by the media. He was flip-flopping due to his inexperience and playing to the staus quo.

10. he said the surge, to called, had not done what it was designed to to |
|
which was to "give the Iraqis breathing room" to get the government together. But he has always said it was, short term, a military success. He believes, as does almost everyone, that it is a political failure.

11. No the answer is nuanced |
|
In January he said the surge would succeed in damping down violence, but it would not result in a political success, which is what needs to be done. He said as much today.

13. Ewww, Rockefeller slammed McCain and then had to appoliogize |
|
McCain went on record as well and stated that Obama should denounce Rockefeller's statements but Obama refuses. This is good stuff.

If you think Obama needs to denounce everything everybody says that McCain doesn't like then we are in real trouble.

He asked more detailed questions than most(loved Boxer and the Republican (name started with a Z?_
"Are there conditions when we can withdraw etc." were just given a plus on my TV.
I've heard commentators say that he looked Presidential, that is fine with me.

asked the toughest questions... But I did miss Russ Feingold, since my dog needed to go out just then and wouldn't come in, even though I explained to him that it was important... ;)
