Hey, Mark Penn just earned $101,600 from the Clinton Campaign
That's how much he pulls down in ONE DAY on the Clinton Campaign. $101,600. (data from the FEC, based on March data).

He's still drawing a paycheck from her.

1. He's drawing IOU's at the moment.
He's owed $2.5 million by the Clinton Campaign.

4. He received 3.15 million in March... he's paid up as of then. They are less than a month behind
in paying him... I don't know about you, but I only get paid once a month.

8. Jesus Christ. Making $101,600 a day you'd think he could at least afford:
A comb, an iron, a tie, some Jenny Craig and a shower.

There's no WAY this guy is married right? To a man OR a woman... no decent spouse would let him leave the house like that.

42. Apparently... Nancy Jacobson
According to her Third Way biographical profile:<1>

Ms. Jacobson is a longtime Democratic Party fundraiser. In addition to helping found Third Way, she also serves as Senior Advisor to Senator Evan Bayh, National Finance Chair for the Democratic Leadership Council, and Founder and Executive Director of Next Generation, a political action committee devoted to supporting moderate, centrist Senate candidates. Ms. Jacobson was an early supporter of Bill Clinton’s 1992 Presidential campaign, and was Finance Director of the Democratic National Committee when he assumed office in 1993. Ms. Jacobson received her B.A. in Political Science from Syracuse University and a Masters in Public Relations from American University. She is married to Mark Penn, the worldwide CEO of Burson-Marsteller, who served as pollster and strategic advisor to President Clinton and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Well this may explain some of Hillary's loyalty to Mark Penn...

So he's made $50 million or so from Clinton's campaign? It's amusing to think that she paid $2 million for each point she lost in the polls, but it seems off.

17. That's Probably Not Just For Penn's 'Brilliance'
It's probably also for other services - direct mail, polling (and we know how important polling is to The Clintons), etc. Also, we don't know if it's a monthly bill.

Don't get me wrong - I hope that she keeps tossing as much money as possible into that human toilet.

19. It's a monthly disbursement according to the FEC.
And given that she's got 10s of thousands going to printing and mailing services for the same Month, I'd wager the 3.15 million to Mr. Penn was not for that purpose.

25. He is Peter Beinart
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Beinart

He had been a vocal supporter of the war in Iraq, and chastised liberals and Democrats for failing, in his eyes, to adequately recognize the threat from Islamic fundamentalism and develop an alternative response to conservative and Republican policies. At the same time, however, Beinart has been critical of the Bush administration's handling of the war and its aftermath. Beinart renounced his position supporting the war in his book, The Good Fight.

He's also a member of PNAC.

56. Plus he had NO IOU's to schools/grocery stores/health insurance premiums
HE seems to pay as he goes.

Given all the press/'Net talk that HRC has gotten for her outstanding IOU's, she would have been better off paying off the smaller people's IOU's than Penn's.

39. earned? earned?
Okay I guess the first meaning of "earn" is the same as "get" while the second meaning is "deserve".

Cripes that's stupid and confusing. Let's do math like that. Instead of two = ** and three = ***
We'll make the primary meaning of three = ** and let it have a secondary meaning of ***.

That way sometimes 2 + 3 = 4 and sometimes 2 + 3 = 5.

But that's still too simple, we need to change the definition of + and give that operation multiple meanings.

But I digress. Whatever that means.
