Latest national poll numbers: Obama: 46% McCain: 45%; McCain: 47% HRC: 44% |
|
All within the moe, though it could be argued that Obama is doing slightly better than Clinton.

6. Maybe because this race is... |

driving up their negative numbers, rather than McCain (who's not getting the day-to-day lambasting that either dem candidate seems to get)

7. McCain will beat either one of them. |
|
The media have done a good job of playing up his "strength of character." Plus, people like him better on the war (because they're idiots). He also appeals to "independents" (there is no such thing, but the people who call themselves that). The big thing is, though: people "trust" him more. Hopefully some big scandal comes up before now and November, but the media won't cover it even if it does. Plus, Obama has the crazy black preacher (I don't think he's crazy, but that's how it will be covered) story for the media, McCain, and 527s to race bait the public with.
This is going to be a rough, frustrating election again.

9. We Certainly Are Not on Track for Winning |

The media always pumps up the Repiggies during the summer and fall. They all ADORE McCain, and will turn him into the next Reagan.
Being essentially tied with McCain at this point is not good enough.
This election could go VERY badly for us.
