Honest Question: I wonder if Clinton had to loan herself more money last month?
Could that be why they're hesitant to release the actuals until the due date? Last time she had to loan her campaign, I believe she initially included that $5M in her earnings estimate release. Knowing that many of her donors are maxed out, and last month left her with no money for the primary campaign (assuming she paid her bills)... One has to wonder what she is operating on right now.

1. It seems she still has not paid her bills, but I've been wondering the same.

2. Super Ds
She would have a very hard time with the Supers if she gave herself money again. One of the signals of strength of a candidate is their ability to raise money.

6. While I agree - she has to come up with money to keep going.
And we know she's running expensive ads and such. I think I read the other day that she has 5 new ads running PA, I believe?

7. Just saying
Ickes can harp on about Wright all he wants but if she's unable to pull off a 10 point victory in PA after loaning herself a couple million he's going to have a heck of a time with his Super sales pitch for her.

3. If the Clintons are anything, they are shrewd investors. She knows that's a bad deal.

8. Maybe Mark Penn (still working albeit demoted) can score some cash from COLUMBIA
Where Coke is the Drink of the Death Squads! :P

By David Rovics, http://www.davidrovics.com/

Coca-Cola came to Colombia
Seeking lower wages
They got just what they came for
But as we turn the pages
We find the workers didn't like the sound
Of their children's hungry cries
So they said we'll join the union
And they began to organize

So Coke called up a terrorist group
Called the AUC
They said "we've got some problems
At the factory"
So these thugs went to the plant
Killed two union men
Told the rest, "you leave the union
Or we'll be back again"

Now Coke did not complain
About this dirty deed
Why give workers higher wages
When Coke is all they really need
They phoned the AUC
Said "thanks, without you we'd go broke
And to show our appreciation
Here's one hundred cases of Coke"

(Chorus)
The baby drinks it in his bottle
When the water ain't no good
The dog drinks it
But he don't know if he should
Some folks say
It's the nectar of the Gods
But Coke is the drink of the Death Squads

Well the workers wouldn't take
This situation lying down
Some went up to Georgia
Said "look what's happened to our town
You American workers got downsized
And as for us we just get shot
And those of us who survive
Our teeth begin to rot"

(Chorus)

Well now that's the situation
What are you gonna do
'Cause death squads run Colombia
And they're paid by me and you
We can let Coke run the world
And see what future that will bring
Or we can drink juice and smash the state
Now that's the real thing

(Chorus)

10. She might have loaned the campaign more money.
I would expect them to skirt the law by (1) continuing to owe massive debt they do not pay, (2) having their deep pocket backers run "independent" media campaigns to relieve her campaign of that cost, and (3) use their personal money to buy off super delegates who are willing to be bought.
