Rasmussen Battleground Polls: Not bad for Kerry.
All results released in the past week.

Kerry:
+23 in NY
+19 in ME (!)
+16 in IL (!)
+12 in NJ
+8 in CA
+6 in MI
+5 in MN

Bush:
+24 in OK
+21 in AL
+17 in TX
+12 in GA
+10 in SC
+5 in AR
+4 in NC
+2 in VA
+2 in OH
+1 in OR
+1 in MO
+1 in PA

Kerry and Bush currently tied in FL.

The PA results don't gibe with what I've seen elsewhere (some say Kerry +4 or +6), and the OR results are a little odd (as are the Maine results... Kerry +19?!)

But Rasmussen is clearly corroborating other pollsters' findings that Bush is in big trouble in VA, NC, and MO.

1. Zogby's battleground polls, which are more recent
have Kerry ahead in PA and Oregon. See http://www.dcpoliticalreport.com

3. Yes
That could allow Kerry to spend more of his resources in states that are truly up for grabs, while Bush needs to shore up his base.

6. Idiot bush is having his convention in a state that heavily favors..
his opponent. How stupid can you be? Both convention states are Kerry country. Go Kerry!

5. Hello From Waterville, Maine!
I'm not the least bit surprised, even though I live in a HIGHLY Democratic town. I just don't see all that much arrection for whistle ass here (still my favorite name for him).

A few rw co-workers are very silent lately.

7. Bush job approval gone up from 50% to 51% between May & now?
That report also states that Bush's approval rating has gone up 1% since May! I'm astonished!

might be off. Then again, If Bush is really up by only two to four points in NC and VA, he's really in trouble...and I'm fine with that :D

At the same time, Kerry's numbers in CA could be higher. Also he should be up in PA, OH and OR...
