We can still have the DK plan for healthcare..
Edited on Wed Apr-09-08 08:57 PM by cooolandrew
I mean really it is all about congress if we can keep working to get the right Democrats in seats we can keep up the pressure for what is genuine universal care. No profit is the main undeniable factor that reduces costs rather than taking it out of taxes to pay which is a crazy way to go round the houses. Just take out profit making and voila. Lower healthcare instatnly. I mean subsidies are only your taxes which is crazy way to do it, the factor that makes universal care, is no profit, no excuses no compromises. let's work for a filibuster congress.

1. The DK plan for healthcare?
Does it include a big monkey throwing down barrels of random medicine?

8. Obama's health care plan needs some serious work.
That's my main beef with him right now.

6. So doctors and pharmacists won't make a profit?
What motivates them to stay in the profession?

5. I agree. Dennis' plan rocks.
But let's face it, nobody's plan will get passed as proposed by any of the candidates. By the time Congress is done, we'll probably all be going to Canada for our meds.

7. Yes, when the new congress starts working on this and other issues
we here on DU will unite and become some of the most effective supporters they have ever seen. I cannot wait for the election to be over so we can get back to being the activists we are. I was here when we were doing research and support in the past and it is so great to work with so many smart and talented people.
