Do you have Clinton Fatigue? I do.
In the beginning I was more than willing to give Hillary a chance, but the longer the primaries have dragged on, and the more the Clintons' dysfunctional ways came to the fore, I felt worn out. The latest incident is this payola to Bill for Columbian Trade deal, and Hillary claiming she doesn't agree with Bill.

The constant drama is what turned me off, it so reminds me of the 1990s. And this is why I simply don't want Bill and Hillary anywhere near the White House.

Apparently much of America feels the same way. It's time for change.

3. I'm just not up for The Clinton Wars II
I was the most loyal defender of them in the 1990's. By 2000 I was exhausted from it all. They make life very hard for their supporters. Clinton was a fine president. I'm sure Hillary would be fine too, but they are the greatest organizing inspiration for the right wing in this country. Republicans gained across the board in down-ballot elections in the Clinton years. It took 12 years to win back the House.

about the Clintons' dealings and never paid 'em much mind. But some of the stuff that has come out is pretty smarmy, and to me, reinforces the rep they have of doing whatever it takes to get ahead. Including stomping on their integrity away to make a buck. Or win an election.

8. It's so beyond belief at this point
It's just laughable. I can't even get frustrated anymore. Every time Obama starts going after McCain they cut to Clinton(s) attacking Obama. I don't think it's necessarily harming our chances for the GE, but sometimes you want to lean through the TV and say 'take a hint'. So I just laugh now. My roommates, they laugh. My coworkers, they laugh. The excuses and the lies and the grasping at straws... It's just funny.

I'd feel sorry for them, but then I saw their tax returns and they don't need my sympathy.

There was one debate that I noticed a look she gave him him after he gave her a very good comeback.

She looked at him with a sort of knowing look in her eye.

I think she must know he will be better for the country than her.

It is time to get on with the FUTURE.

26. Some
Some by Daniel Berrigan

Some stood up once, and sat down
Some walked a mile, and walked away
Some stood up twice, then sat down, "I've had it" they said,
Some walked two miles, then walked away. "It's too much," they cried.

Some stood and stood and stood.
They were taken for fools,
They were taken for being taken in.

Some walked and walked and walked.
They walked the earth,
They walked the waters,
They walked the air.

"Why do you stand," they were asked, "and why do you walk?"

"Because of the children," they said,
"And because of the heart,
"And because of the bread,"

"Because the cause is the heart's beat,
And the children born
And the risen bread."

candidacy warned would happen. The supporters here think that she has been given a raw deal here, they haven't seen nothing yet.

The right will be unmerciful, which is why they want her to win the nomination, they can pull out all the dead horses and beat them to death and folks will just turn away or turn off.

22. Yup exactly what the Repubs want
Clinton fatigue. The longer she stays in the more tired I get of seeing her mug. I am a little biased because I started getting tired of her when she gave her floor speech (excuse) for voting for the IWR, but I digress. I think that by the time this thing gets to NC folks will be good and tired of her. Hopefully the remaining states will do us all a favor and put her miserable campaign to rest where it belongs. If she were to miraculously win then I would have to not only hold my nose but get piss ass drunk to vote for her, that is how tired I am of her.

21. If it wasn't so exhausting, it would be laughable. I simply can't understand
why her supporters don't seem to notice any of this. It's like listening to neo-cons talk about Bush. I mean if they even seemed to recognize but had some valid reason to consider her anyway, I might listen. For example, I fully recognized that Bill shouldn't have lied or acted like a teenager that is too stupid to realize that oral sex is still sex. But I still supported him, felt like it wasn't a reflection on his abilities as president, said a lot about how charming and persuasive he must be. Respected Hillary for staying with him because it confirmed for me that she really knew who her husband was and had clearly accepted him for who he was.

Unfortunately the Clinton supporters I read on here seem to be completely blind to any mistakes, lies, conflicts of interest, or anything negative about their candidate. It is just mind boggling that they can be so blind and aggressive in their protection of their ignorant bliss.

67. Yeah, exactly. I know that I don't agree with Obama on many points, I don't
pretend they don't exist. But in the end, I have learned that 90% of what a president promises will be blocked by Congress anyway, so even if he had 100% of the "right" answers, he wouldn't be able to deliver on them. The question for me is "Which personality style will present the United States in a fashion that I can be proud of?" So things that exclude candidates for me are, stupidity, righteous single-mindedness, one issue candidates, liars, whiners, those that make petty Rovian type attacks, and so on. Hillary has in the past two months pounded home to me, over and over again, that she exhibits 90% of the traits that I would be ashamed of in the leader of my country. I've had 7 years and 1 more to go of feeling that way, feeling like the world is at the very least laughing at me and Americans collectively, because we were too careless and stupid and we let a mean, singleminded moron into the white house, not once but twice. No more.

Obama seems to be ultimately fair, calm, thinks before he speaks, admits issues relating to him without blaming anyone else, asks questions in order to be given answers instead of asking "questions" so that his POV can be heard at nauseum, courteous and respectful to the likes of Betrayus and Crockpot and yet effectively and calmly becks them into corners of their own making rather than pontificating during an inquiry hearing. I really like his style, I think he can bring respectability back to the white house, something neither Hillary nor McCain can possibly accomplish given their presentations of themselves to date.

46. good post
i have always wondered how reality can shift so easily around the Clinton's
as for oral sex not being sex
if its not SEX why don't they call it something else?
oral happy time or oral whooppeedooo
seems to me that logic demands that for one to obtain SEXUAL gratification then sex must be involved
and the splooge stained blue dress confirms gratification
i hate going into this subject again because the shrillary folks seem to get all bent when you do
but it is illustrative of how willing to blind themselves to the baggage she totes

71. ITA. I'm tired of her torpedoing her own campaign nearly every day...
...and I'm ready to move on. At this point she's like a dead weight on the Democratic Party and its voters, and especially its activists.

I'm over her and her crooked staff, including WJC. I'm disgusted that Chelsea Clinton would stand silent while her mother lied about being under sniper fire. I'm fed up with James Carville and his Matlin MindMeld.

I want to do something productive. I want to put an Obama v. McCain suite of pages on my website. I want to distribute free Obama-2008 stickers.

Enough. We must get rid of the Clinton dead weight on our party so we can move on to launch a successful campaign against John Mccain.

76. What do you have against the 90's???
Life was much better under Cinton in the 90's, imo. I really have Clinton and Obama fatigue at this point. I am not thrilled with either of them.

81. I have nothing against the 90s, but the Clintons
and their style of politics. :hi:

Did you see Bill in Indiana trying to spin Hillary out of the Tuzla disaster?

WHAT a LOAD OF CRAP. This is EXACTLY what I am talking about. Nothing will get done with them at the helm, it will be one media fight after another.

77. I couldn't believe it when I saw people falling for the junk
Bush was saying and voting for him, not once but twice.

Fast forward to 2008 and I can't believe it now when I see democrats, who I thought were smarter than this, falling for Obama's vague generalities which, if he somehow wins (something that I am beginning to doubt), will allow him to claim he didn't actually say (fill in the blank).

79. I have Obama fatigue.
It started about two to three months ago. And is getting steadily worse.
