Rasmussen: McCain 46, O 45 , McCain 48, Hillary 42. So much for Hillary’s electability. |
|
McCain is viewed favorably by 52% and unfavorably by 45%. Obama’s reviews are also 52% favorable and 45% unfavorable. For Clinton, those numbers are 45% favorable, 53% unfavorable ------snip--------- The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows John McCain with a statistically insignificant one-point advantage over Barack Obama, 46% to 45%. Yesterday, it was Obama leading McCain by that same statistically insignificant margin (see recent daily results). In a match-up with Hillary Clinton, McCain attracts 48% of the vote while Clinton earns 42%. Daily tracking results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time.

3. Nope. Other way around. |
|
GE is done based upon EC. It doesn't matter that Obama will lose less in red states when he narrowly loses PA, FL, and OH and thus the race.

5. Republicans read polls... that's why FOX *Hearts* Hillary |
|

he can win
his numbers were higher until Clinton went ballistic...
that drove her negatives up, she still loses, and it hurt him, hurt US
PA needs to figure it out...

7. I support Obama, but this GE poll tracking just annoys me. It is just meaningless |
|
at this stage of the game. I don't think Hillary is electable in the GE for my own reasons, but I would never use one of these polls as an indication of that either way. The spotlight isn't on McCain yet, everyone is distracted by the primary, the GE is nearly 7 MONTHS AWAY, it just doesn't make sense to look at these with anything more than a 1-ton grain of salt at hand.
