"Do Democrats believe their own predictions?"
I am not sure about The Hill, as they have tried to divide Dems. This is a nice article in some ways, and divisive in others. Interesting thoughts from the Take Back America conference.

http://www.thehill.com/york/061004.aspx
SNIP..."At a conference in March here in D.C.,” Blades continued, “one of the attendees asked me, ‘Why aren’t we talking about a landslide in November?’”
“And I decided, OK, well, maybe I should say it out loud. ... And now, finally, everybody’s saying, yeah, we’re going to win by a landslide. “I’m voting for a landslide.”

Lines like that got a lot of applause at the conference, which was called “Take Back America.”

The video is the 1st most viewed at www.c-span.org. It mainly concentrates on Hillary, Soros, and Dean as speakers. Hilary 21 minutes in, then Soros, then Dean at 1 hr and 33 minutes.
